Chapter 131 - The Invitation
Violet followed the carriage until it was lost at the end of the street. She didn't know who was sitting inside, but she could tell they probably hit it on the wrong foot already. Since she was in Taica Kingdom now, she must be extra careful.
Her knowledge about the country was very limited as the majority of the story happened in the Rowan Kingdom where Ashford's duchy was located. Taica was the place that burned during the much larger scale war than the one that Cassiel just won.
But what was the trigger?
She couldn't remember.
"Violet, when did you wake up?" The man walked to the room, his steps light as if he didn't want to leave behind any sounds in case she was sensitive to stimulates.
"Just now…" She stepped from the window and smiled at him. When he opened the door, the fresh air got in, cooling her face, but to her disappointment, it was closed faster than a speed of thunderbolt.
