Things Back On Track...

Xian places Anna on her bed and walks towards the washroom to get the bath tub ready with hot water. He knew Anna is not in her senses and didn't wanted to repeat the same mistake as first to take advantage of her while in this situation. He comes back and carries Anna again in bridal style.

"Where to now" Anna questions while rubbing her half sleepy eyes.

"You need to freshen up before sleeping. I have arranged everything inside. Just take your bath and let me know once ready" He makes her stand on her legs and help her to remove the dress and walks out of the washroom half-heartedly.

Anna on the other hand jumps in the bath tub. She comes back to her senses the moment she dips her body in the warm water. "What the hell was I thinking to say that to Xian, what must have he thought about me. Done is done now let me just go with the flow. I know he has made mistakes in past but this time he has controlled himself a lot. For that he deserves a second chance". Anna comes out of the bath tub and fill it again for Xian. She throws her used clothes in the laundry basket and wraps herself in the bathrobe next to the door arranged by Xian.

"Hey thank you for the arrangement, I feel lot better after the shower" Anna speaks while walking out of the bathroom and rubbing her wet hair with the hand towel.

Xian was standing on the window side watching the beautiful night scenery outside and turns after hearing Anna's voice. He blinks for few times to relax back after seeing Anna in bathrobe with the water droplets travelling from her wet hair to her face and then getting disappeared after touching the cleavage.

"Hey is your fever back, why is your face all red" Anna enquires after finding Xian a bit unconformable

"No I am fine, probably need to shower quickly and you wear something. You might not know but your attire is killing me right now" Saying this he ran inside the bathroom leaving Anna all confused with the words.

"What killing" Anna walks in front of the mirror to dry her hair but screams after watching her bathrobe moved all down making her cleavage all visible "Ahh…So this was what he was talking about" She quickly covers her robe tightly and grabs her night wear from the wardrobe before changing into the same quickly.

Xian enters the washroom and ON the cold water to calm himself. After finding his little brother back in normal he jumps in the tub filled by Anna to relax for some time. He hears a loud scream from outside while was in shower and could relate the scream and cause for the same thus just smile imagining the situation.

He walks out of the washroom after wrapping his lower body in the towel and before Anna could scream again he clarifies "Just hold on, I didn't carry my clothes inside. Will change it now. Please don't scream again else neighbours will think we are up to something", saying he quickly walks into the wardroom area and starts picking up his clothes and settles with white oversize t-shirt and track. He walks out while rubbing his wet hair when Anna runs towards him "Come let me help you to dry your hairs as you will catch fever else again" she grabs his hands and make him sit on the bed side before coming in middle of his legs to start rubbing his hairs. Xian sits muted watching her dry his hair. He then notice her outfit and could feel his little brother growing up again. Her toned legs where visible from her night shorts and over size sweater was not helping any further due to the transparent texture.

*Coughs*

"Anna, I can do it by myself. You are making it difficult for me" Xian speaks softly while raising his head to meet Anna's eyes. Anna stands their still holding the towel on his hairs and moves her eyes slowly towards his bottom and moves back after noticing the same.

Her face turns all red due to embarrassment, she excuse herself to get the coffee "*Ahem* Do you want coffee? I am getting one for myself"

Xian holds his laugh and replies calmly "Yeah sure". Listening to him she quickly runs out of the room and grabs a long breathe leaning on the stairs. "Wow that was close. Anna how can you be so stupid" she pats her red cheeks to calm down while walking to the kitchen.

She prepares coffee and pour it in two mugs, put the same in a small tray with some cookies and carry the tray back to the room.

Anna walks inside the bedroom and finds Xian reading one of her favourite novel putting on his eye glasses. This was the first time she has seen him wearing specs.

"You have eyesight" Anna speaks while placing the tray on the bed side table and placing herself on bed.

"Nah, these are my reading glasses" Xian replies while taking off the glasses and placing the novel on his side of bed table.

"Here, have some coffee and cookie" Anna passes him the tray and pick up her mug.

"Hmmm…The coffee tastes so good" Xian speaks after taking his first sip.

"It's normal Xian, don't exaggerate"

"No seriously, it's make you feel relaxed. Wish to get this every night"

Anna remains silence after listening to Xian's words.

Xian completes his coffee and moves towards Anna after placing his mug on the bed side. He turns her face and holds it while placing his palms on each side of her cheeks "Anna, I know have done mistakes in past and I am sorry for the same but trust me I never wanted to do it and will never repeat it. Hope you can stop pushing me away, I think you already have sensed my feelings towards you. Please stop going away from me as that kills me. I have never felt the same ever in my life. Give me another chance to prove it"

Anna takes a deep breath and removes his hands from her cheeks "Xian, I know the things haven't been good between us from the first meet till now. And I know that you are not a bad man as well. I have accepted your apology long back. It's not you but me who is denying and sacred of the feelings. I don't think we make a good match as we have so much difference in our status. I have no family and you are heir of Xia family."

"I know you are scared of my Grandfather but trust me, just allow me to take away your all your worries by becoming your knight"

Anna gets shock after hearing Xian's words

"You know about my meet with your Grandfather"

"Of course dear, you two met in my personal office. Do you think I am not enough capable to check on who comes in my cabin in my absence. You don't have to worry about my family and their thinking as long as I am with you no one can harm you and regarding your family. Once you marry me, my family will be yours."

Anna nods and stops after realising the marry word in the complete sentence and stares blankly at Xian.

"Ok, I am not hurrying anything. Let's take time and start freshly. What say, are you ready Ms. Anna?"

"Yes, Mr. Xian. I am ready to date you?" Anna replies with a broad smile on her face.

Xian grabs her in his arms and places a small peck on her forehead and then lips. "I will give you everything. Thank you for giving me another chance"
