Chapter 12

Ethan's relation with his family became smooth and sometimes he would visit his grandparents whenever he has time. But for some reasons he became a bit awkward towards his own family that only his older brother Nathan would sometimes talk to him. He knew that after what happened to him and Elise his older sister Elise hide her hostility towards him. His family is also one of the socialite families that is why it is no wonder when a lot of socialite family knows him or his siblings. It was not just him who was labeled as a genius, cause both his older brother and sister are also labeled as geniuses on their own field, that is why their parents became so proud of all three of them. Although his father started to spoil him at some point knowing that even if he is an omega he could be proud of his son who specializes in his medical field.

Arata on the other hand still works under Ethan but he doesn't live with anymore or more likely he lives next door together with his beta wife and son. He got married when Ethan reach 18 yrs old, for some reason he got together with a single beta girl who lives next door to them, after knowing her they started going out and eventually got married. Everything is so peaceful that it is some kind of a warning like those saying about calm before the storm.

When it comes to love life, Elise is also going out with a man named Ito Hideaki, he is the second son of the well-known business tycoon family. The two of them had been going out for three years now and even though the parents of Hideaki never like Elise they just can't stop their second son from wanting to marry her. That is why after three years the two of them got engaged and plan to marry after they both graduate which is just months away.

Inside the Capital's General Hospital OR

*ring*ring*ring*

"Dr. Ethan, your phone is ringing" one of the nurses said as she notices it was Ethan's phone.

"let it ring, if it's urgent they will call back" Ethan was assisting the lead doctor who is doing a surgery on a patient.

"you should take the call, and we might take an hour or two before we finish this surgery so let the caller know about it and it might be urgent too." says Dr. Lin, the lead doctor

"but Dr. Lin…*sigh* alright, answer it and come closer here" Ethan has been helping Dr. Lin in most of his surgeries and had been teaching him a lot of things that is why Ethan was able to get use to his attitude. Knowing that when he had made up his mind there's no way it can be change thus he has no choice but to answer the call. Unexpectedly the caller was Ken who has been looking for him since this morning.

"princess, where are you? You're not at home, nor at the hospital, I was planning to take you to a date but you're not around, are you hiding from me?" asked Ken over the phone. Upon hearing what ken said almost everyone laughed while Ethan suddenly became embarrass

"hahaha!!! Now that a really urgent call you got their Dr. Ethan, good thing I told you to answer it hahaha!!!"said the now laughing Dr. Lin, who stop what he is doing while the rest of the nurses and assistant doctors also laugh with him.

"urgh, Dr. Lin please stop laughing! Also Ken, I'm still at the general hospital with Dr. Lin is doing surgery. I'm not hiding from you ok, I just forgot to mention that I have to assist Dr. Lin today," explained the still current flustered Ethan.

"ooohhh…I see, I heard them hahaha, Dr. Lin will Ethan be free after your surgery?" asked Ken to Dr. Lin since he knew Ethan will have it on loud speaker cause he is currently on surgery and Dr. Lin and the rest are all familiar to him too. They all know that Ethan is Ken's boyfriend too.

"yeah, I only have this one surgery, you can kidnap your princess to a date later, he is all yours after," said Dr. Lin

"well, Dr. Ethan will always be mine, anyway princess, I'll pick you up later ok?" when they heard what Ken said they all look at Ethan who is blushing upon hearing the declaration of Ken.

"ok, I'm hanging up now, I'll see you later then" Ethan signal the nurse to hang it up before Ken could say something. He doesn't want any more teasing later after the surgery.

Both he and Ken would always say I love you before hanging up their call but since there are a lot of ears around him he just can't say it and would not let Ken say it in front of everyone.

Ken was actually at Ethan's apartment setting up everything for their romantic date, he also prepared some lotion and condoms since he knows they will do it tonight. They haven't done it raw since he doesn't want to risk Ethan getting pregnant before he married him.
