Honeymoon ( 13 )

"You can't lie to me. What happened?" Dila asked intimidatingly.

"Last night I fought with Ria. I was sick of being patient with her. Last night I took my anger out on her."

"Oh, God. Why did you do that?"

Naura was silent for a moment realizing her mistake.

"Maybe the patient genie in my body has already left. I felt like I want to slap the face of that damn whore."

"Be patient."

"Okay. You take a shower first. Then after we pray, we will do mandoa."

Mandoa = thanksgiving prayer.

  "Alright."

"After you go home from your honeymoon, we will tell a story."  Naura smiled sweetly as she left Dila.

Dila closed the door of her room again. Bara came to Dila.

  "What's up Dil?"

"Naura reminded for you to bathe and pray at dawn in congregation at the mosque and then we have a thanksgiving prayer."

Bara's eyes glared. All of his age, he had never prayed. Didn't pray at dawn, just woke up always at 7 am. If Ranti didn't wake him up, he wouldn't wake up.

"Okay, Dila. I'll take a shower first. But I don't have a Koko shirt," Bara said while opening one of his suitcases.

Bara looked for clothes to wear to the mosque. Bara who was used to being provided, confused about which clothes to wear. Bara unpacked the other suitcase. Bara's pants were scattered on the floor.

Dila herself was stunned to see Bara's underwear on the floor. She became ashamed of herself because her eyes didn't leave his underwear.

Dila approached Bara and tidied up her husband's clothes which were scattered on the floor. Dila shook her head at her husband's behavior.

Dila checked Bara's other suitcase. She found a cream-colored Koko shirt.

"Here is the Koko shirt," said Dila, as she gave the Koko shirt to Bara.

"You don't have to wear a Koko shirt for prayer. A shirt can also be neat and clean."

"I'll take a shower first Dil," Bara said while bringing his towel and clothes to the bathroom.

With an uncomfortable feeling, Dila tidied up Bara's clothes which were scattered on the floor, and also her husband's underwear. The Bermuda triangle looked horror in her eyes, especially when imagining the contents on the underwear, it made Dila goosebumps like a disco.

Dila tried to get rid of her lecherous thoughts. She immediately put Bara's pants in a suitcase so as not to provoke her brain to think perverted.

Abi and Dayat were amazed to see Bara awake at dawn. They never saw their master set foot in the mosque.

In all his years, since he worked as a Bara driver, this was the first time that Abi had seen his employer pray. Didn't even pray nor woke up in the morning.

"This is my first time seeing Bara like this. Is this really our boss or not?" Abi asked, whispered to Dayat.

"The power of getting married and living with in-laws. He wants to have a good image," said Dayat, provoking Abi's laughter.

"You're right." Abi nudged Dayat's arm. Bara's private driver could not hide his laughter.

"What are you laughing at?" Bara asked, who suddenly appeared in front of Abi and Dayat.

The hearts of the two drivers felt as if they were about to fall out of their places when Bara approached them, they were stroking their chests.

"You surprised us, Boss," Abi said calmly.

"Where is the other?"  Bara glanced around.

"Over there, Boss."  Dayat's finger pointed towards Defri and Iqbal.

Iqbal and Defri approached them and they continued their way to the mosque.
