A Fight with A witch
"Oh, sorry! Isn't it too early for that?" That joking voice that the couple looked at. "Shall I come back?"
Angeline glanced sharply in the direction from which the voice had come, and her gaze looked at the man talking from the door. He was not very tall, perhaps five-eight inches taller, but the man was built with broad shoulders and a narrow waist. He was also quite attractive in a with brown hair, a square jaw, and eyes that were brighter green than she had ever seen. . . and a wolf.
"No, no. Stay," Jacob promptly said.
"Thank you, Jacob," The man said. "How do you feel?" he asked as if genuinely worried.
"What?" Angeline said, stunned by the man's friendly tone as if he already knew her.
"I told him you were sick the last time he came here," Jacob explained.
"I'm fine now, thank you. We've met already ... Saul," she smiled at the man. "I've been a lot better since then. I got a good doctor."
