Chapter 4: Kaguya Sword: Start!

"Damn, how much farther do we got!?" I shouted while my face was being drenched in sweat.

"We're almost to the half-way point to my land." Ayaka responded pointing at the map.

"I don't think I can last being in the sun for so much longer!" I whined.

"I feel like I'm getting sea sick."

"Don't worry, we'll be on land in no time." Ayaka clarified.

I can't believe how far this place is, it feels like we haven't gotten anymore. Just been seeing the same mountains and hills surrounding us in the middle of the river we're traveling on. I'm pretty sure it's winter on Earth right now but it's summer over here, It's messing with me pretty badly. I'm kinda happy that I've got a small group to be with, I had doubts that I was gonna find companions to be with.

"Hey I see the land we need to step foot on!" Ayaka shouts while pointing towards the distance.

I-It's a huge jungle? I don't think I've ever seen that many trees and vines in my life.

"You sure that's it?" I asked while observing the place.

"Yeah! I went by here when coming to the capital." Ayaka explained.

"I wasn't expecting a jungle… Mita you got your Mesu powers right?"

"I do, you want me to do the fighting?" Mita says while walking up to the side of the boat.

"Unfortunately, I don't got my powers activated yet so I'll help with planning."

"You don't?" Ayaka asked with confusion.

"Nope, It hasn't at all. I tried searching for it with the machine in the capital but there was no results found."

"That's weird. Everyone is born with a power trait?"

"Wait… Ayaka say that again?" I responded.

"What do you mean? I said you should been born with one like everyone has?"

"Ayaka? Aren't you from Earth like us?" I questioned with confusion.

"Huh? What's Earth?"

"M-Mita…" I mumbled.

"I-I thought people from Earth were only here…" Mita muttered with a shocking face expression.

T-There's no way there was a people trapped here before.

"Ayaka, I have bad news."

"I have a feeling your home is going to be destroyed more worse than you can imagine. Look, just recently people from a different world came over including Mita and I and they are not nice at all."

"W-We need to hurry up and warn them!" Ayaka screamed while panicking with fear.

"Mita, let's do this."

"I got your back, Tokuda."

Part 2

"S-Shit. There's those wild beasts that roam around blocking our way!" I alerted.

Damn it, it sucks I don't got any special powers like Mita. I would be doing the work around here.

"I got it. Tokuda, Ayaka stand back!"

"Water Formation: Divine Dragon" Mita shouted while concentrating water coming from her hands.

I'm guessing she's a Mesu user, she concentrates on the water flowing out of her hands. Then once she's ready she turns the water into an attack form. That's so cool!

"Got you." Mita mutters while aiming the water attack formed like a dragon that traps people in the mouth of it at the wild beast.

"Gwauh!" the wild beast groans while dying.

"Mita that was amazing!" Ayaka shouts while being all over Mita if she were attached to her.

"Tokuda, I'm pretty sure you'll learn how to use your magic, so don't look so down."

"You think so?"

"Yeah, hell it could be stronger than mine could ever be." Mita exclaimed trying to cheer me up.

"Hope so." I responded with a frown on my face.

"Anyways, we need to keep going. I think I hear a bunch of noises coming up ahead, so it might be Ayaka's home."

I don't know if I should tell them about Ryoko or keep quiet about it… what if they leave me?

"I-"

"Look it's there!" Ayaka shouts.

"This is bigger than the Capital!" Mita blurted with a surprised look on her face.

"It looks so beautiful from this high view!"

"I-It is!" I responded with a joyful expression.

It would make sense though, they've been here way longer than us. So they developed more than us back at the Capital.

"Do you have family down there?" I asked Ayaka.

"Yeah, I have a mother and father that lives with me."

I wonder if there is books that explains any past of this world. It would help a lot with finding the way out of this world back home.

"Ayaka, could you find us a place to lodge at. It would help with planning and assisting you with your home." Mita asked.

"Yeah, just follow me. I know a spot where most visitors stay out from other villages." Ayaka explains while pointing at a spot in her homeland.

"Also, what is this place's name?" I asked Ayaka.

"The name of this place is."

"Ito-District."

Part 3

"There's like way more stuff to do here than back at the Capital!" I exulted.

"Since it's getting late I could show you around tomorrow." Ayaka explained.

"Yes. That would be very helpful." Mita commented while walking alongside me and Ayaka.

"For now, I'll take you to the place you will be taking lodge at."

I wonder if it's gonna be some rundown place with bugs. That would be disgusting, but at least it I'll have some roof over me.

"Here's the place!" Ayaka shouts while pointing at a building siding with a residential carved road.

"I wasn't expecting it to look this well looking." I responded.

"I thought it was gonna be some poor quality place"

I'm so used to the bad hotels back on Earth, I remember I was sleeping in a low costing one and I practically almost covered in bugs from outside because there was a crack in the door, and the staff didn't even notice about it.

"Wow, it even looks nice inside!" I added.

"Tokuda and I are gonna be in the same room." Mita clarified.

"Huh?!" I blurted.

"What's wrong with us together? It's not like we're doing anything inappropriate?"

"B-But it's still weird"

"Fine, sleep on the ground if you want to." Mita suggested while walking away.

"Okay I was joking!" I shouted while catching up to her.

Part 4

I haven't really put much thought into it, I wonder how society is right now. Has anyone noticed that people disappeared and got transported this world?

"Tokuda you up?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Do you think about where and what your parents are doing right now as we are stuck here?"

"No, I could really careless for my Mom."

"Why is that? Do you not care about your mother at all?" Mita questioned while getting up and making eye contact with me.

"Well it's a long story but to put it into a short response."

"Once my dad left the picture she turned into an entirely different person."

"How so?"

"She started gaining habits she never had. Then, she left me all alone, I had to do a lot of things for myself while she was out with men throughout the day."

"It hurt me so much to the point I didn't even love her that much anymore."

"I-I didn't think you went through all of that. I'm sorry."

"N-No It's okay, it's not like it's your fault!"

"I really haven't told anyone about my past so you're the first." I explained with a happy face.

"Mita, you wanna know something?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Thanks, you've helped me out so much. I don't know where I would be without you. I was worried I wasn't gonna be able to survive out here but you changed that perspective for me."

"Um! Yeah, No problem!"

"I'm going to be! Goodnight!" Mita shouts then rushes into bed all flustered.

What I said was really true, she changed me. I thought that the only way to live out here was to use people near me and just plan ahead to get out of here. But I realized I had been just selfish, I've decided that I'll stick with my friends here until the bitter end. I will end the misery of everyone being trapped.
