CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

LEAH/JAMIE'S POV

"Grams always said that angels come into our lives for a brief moment in time and for that brief moment we are the happiest we could ever be. You came in like a tornado, uprooting every hurt and pain. Every doubt and fear! Replacing them with love! A love that conquered it all. You have not only become my best friend, now you're about to become my lover, my present, future and forever! I make this pledge to join you in holy matrimony. because I know your brief moment on my life, will last more than a lifetime" I say, as moistened eyes, shine back at me.

Logan mouths, "I love you!", while I continue to stare into his beautiful sexy eyes.

With the exchange of rings, I give Logan the gold wedding band, grams made for him. With his eyes on his ring finger he gaze at the ring with a soft gentle smile.

As we stared into each other's eyes, we were pronounce man and wife, with Logan crashing his lips on mines, before he was told to, as our family and friend, claps shouting congratulations.

I love this crazy guy, with everything within me.

" Okay okay, guys we're hungry! Let's get outta here" Justin shouts.

Thanking the clergy, Logan drags me out of the hotel's chapel. Where we were hugged by everyone with tears and laughter.

Justin as the best man, joined with my brother and sister for a early dinner, late lunch celebration and I am totally enjoying every second, cherishing every memory to last more than one lifetime.

'Do you regret not having a large grand wedding like other women" Logan whispers in my ear, where we sat in a small ballroom of the hotel. In such a short space of time Logan was able to put all of this together, renting out the entire ballroom.

Grinning, "Except your parents absence, everyone I love is here" I looked around the table at jess and Jer together with Justin.

Giddy with happiness, "so Jamie, what about what we discussed earlier?" Jessy asks, lifting eyebrows indicating Jer.

I didn't forget, I just can't allow a sixteen year old Jess to go on a date with a strange guy in a strange city.

"What's brewing?" Jer asks sipping some grape wine. Logan and I didn't have any alcohol at the table but we definitely will be having lots later.

I looked at Jessy, raising my eyebrows at her. Taking the hint, "I got an invitation to go on a date later" she says with less enthusiasm as before, because she knows that her brother is most protective of her in that department.

"Who with" Jer asks all jokes aside.

Jess proceeded to tell him about meeting Alex earlier and the invitation.

Jer looked at me for a brief second before focusing on Jess again.

"Look Jessy, you're sixteen in a new city requesting to go on a date with a guy over eighteen, which is against the law, for starters." Jer was saying until Jess interrupted.

"Okay, forget it" Jess says sullenly.

Still in a serious tone, "I didn't say no" Jer started as Jess countenance suddenly brightens up.

"You can go, but since you're only sixteen and it's against the law for you to date a guy over eighteen, the only solution here is this" Jer turns to Justin who had a frown, probably wondering what he had to do with this.

"Justin and I were unable to secure dates, so we will be your chaperones from the time you leave here, until you get back here. I will escort you to all your bathroom breaks. There will be absolutely no alone with this.. uh what's his name?" Jer asks us.

"Alex" Jess supplied as Logan chuckles next to me only to receive a hard glare from Jessy, instantly silencing him.

Lifting her hands, "okay. okay, deal" Jess agrees because from experience she knows that this is the only way she'll be going.

Looking at me, "you okay with this?" Jer asks me.

"Yes, just keep our baby safe" I said, reaching for Jess, whose sitting next to me, giving her a side hug and a tight squeeze.

I turned to Logan, who was silent all this time, to see him exchange a look with Justin, who nods at Logan. It's not unusual, but Logan's tensed expression, means that something is off.

"Are you okay?" I asked Logan

With a small smile, he turns to me, placing an arm around my shoulders, giving me a tight squeeze "Yeah, I am, it's just that this" hr says spreading his hands indicating Jess and Jerome, "is new, since I have no younger siblings. So being responsible for these two guys, plus Justin is going to be a learning experience for me" Logan explains with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

Not sure why, but Logan is holding back on me. I didn't look away and sensing my attention still on him, Logan returns my gaze, with a brighter small, but the twinkle in his eyes are missing.

"Don't worry wifey, I'm fine. Actually, I'm great because I've got the greatest love of my life forever" Logan says trying to ease my mind.

Frowning, because I'm not convince and by Logan's clench jaws, he knows that I didn't buy what he's selling.

"So that's settled, Jess has a date to get ready for and Justin and I will be documenting every step" Jer chuckles.

"And the newly weds?" Justin asks looking at Logan and I.

"Oh, wifey and I have plans. We will be flying out at midday tomorrow, because I have court bright and early Monday morning" Logan tells Justin, whose facial expression change again.

Sensing tension, Jess looks at me, "Are you okay,?" Jess asks, rubbing my back.

"No, no I'm not, not really" I say, looking between Justin and Logan.

Justin immediately tenses up, wearing the same expression Logan had before, quickly covering up.
