CHAPTER NINETY FOUR

Dad left to pacify his wife and I went after mines. With a quick glance around the room, I realize Jamie's in the bathroom.

The door was locked. I twisted the door knob, but it was f****** locked. Pounding on the door, "Jamie, open the door please." I gently called her.

When she didn't answer, I pounded the door a little louder. Still there was no response. "Jamie, if you don't answer me, I am going to break down the door. I need to know that you are okay. At least answer me." I said a bit louder, not wanting anyone else in the house to hear us argue, but I am concern with her being in there alone.

"I'm fine, now go away." I heard the muffle sound from the other side of the door and I breath a sigh of relief.

Knocking the door again, "open the door Jamie, you remember the rules, right?" I asked, already looking around the room to see what I can do mess it up for her.

I heard an instant click before the door swung open. With an angry glare, Jamie walks past me and I object, since I need to use the bathroom. Chuckling at how easy it is to get my neat freak wife to surrender.

Twenty five minutes later, I exit the bathroom to see Jamie, sitting on the bed anxiously looking at the bathroom door.

"Hustle, I'm hungry." She says.

With a smirk, I walked towards her. She smiles confidently, no longer shying away from me when I am naked, being comfortable in my presence.

Laughing softly, "didn't I just share my dinner with you?" I reminded her, standing before her, toweling my hair dry.

Standing up, Jamie clad in a shorts an a T-shirt, her baby bump becoming evident, but still sexy as hell.

"You only fed your daughter, now I am hungry." Tilting her head sideways, smiling coyly at me.

Chuckling, I flung the towel on her and strode into the closet to get a change of clothing. "I need to go shopping." I said over my shoulder, pulling on a pair of boxers, digging through the small pile of clothing for a pants and a T-shirt.

Feeling her head on my back, with her hands around my waist, "I need to go shopping." Jamie says instead, "I am out of bras and panties. I need some loose clothes." She reminded me of a conversation, we had recently and of course, I forgot.

Finding a white joggers, and the white T-shirt, I started pulling on my joggers as Jamie decided to make it difficult for me.

"Ouch!" I exclaimed, feeling a bite on my back. "You do know that the guys will see that when we work out tomorrow right?" I whisper as Jamie sucks, the bite. "You're really hungry." I chuckle, turning around, my hands already under her T-shirt, lifting it.

Slapping my hand, "hey, lets go in the kitchen," she moves away straightening her clothes while I finish dressing.

Retrieving, the bedroom keys and a gun, Jamie and I locked the door behind us walking into the kitchen to raid the refrigerator.

Pulling a chair out for her, I took out a loaf of bread Mr. Phillips brought and some pieces of chicken with dressing, for us to prepare, a late night snack.

Biting on her sandwich, licking mayonnaise of her fingers, "I'm serious Logan." Jamie suddenly says, staring at her sandwich.

Lifting my eyes from my sandwich, "about what?" I ask confused.

"Ending this" Jamie, says , taking another bite from her sandwich, but I placed mines back on the plate.

Nodding, "Jamie, I can end this now, but grandfather made some kind of deal with someone and as of right now, I have no idea who it is," I said softly, because other than Mrs. Stan, my parents and my wife, I trust, very few people.

"Then do whatever you have to do to draw them out, because I refuse to continue this waltz with him and while we are having this conversation," Jamie puts her sandwich down, "there will be no more discussion about moving me out of harms way. We're in this, for better or for worse, so deal with it." Jamie picks up a bottle water and started drinking, giving me time to digest what she just said.

"I agree with her," Justin pulls a chair out to join us.

Jamie smiles at him while I glare at his intrusion, "can't you see that I am having a romantic moment here with my wife?" I shook my head, Pushing the loaf and the chicken for him to help himself.

Chuckling, "yeah, the deadly, Mr. and Mrs. Daniels or is it Grey?" Justin whistles, while making his sandwich.

Pointing to the refrigerator, "desert" Jamie smirks.

Shaking my head, I got up to get her desert, "you know that you are getting fat right?" I joke, head inside the refrigerator, poking around for the pastries.

Not hearing a peek out of Jamie or Justin, I pulled the door to look at them, confused at the scowl on their faces.

"You know that you just called your pregnant wife fat, right?" Justin informs me harshly.

"F***, Jamie, I am so sorry. I was just joking." I immediately walked over to her side, ignoring Justin's glare.

Jamie reaches for the pastries box, and selected two custard cake, pushing the box over to Justin.

"You should go wherever you went last night and do whatever you did, because whoever it is, may not be expecting you so soon. Call Cameron and whoever you trust." Jamie instructs me, as Justin and I stare at her shocked.

"Jamie." I started, but she stopped me, her normally sparkly gray eyes, dull and cold, without emotion.

"Aren't you interested in drawing them out?" Jamie asks, glancing between Justin and I.

I tried again, "Jamie, it's not that simple. We need a plan." I said.

"We use the same one from this morning, against the same people who are not exposing their hits and losses." Justin said with a thoughtful expression.
