Chapter 3 who is this shorty?

It took him 3 days to make some coffins to better preserve their corpses and less likely to be found using stone and rubble to hold them inside of the walls of the cavern.

The reason why it took him so long was due to those humans dressed in green scoured the forest for any clues of the crew of the spaceship.

Even now, they were still looking, but with him being one of the best trackers of his tribe, Guan-thwei knew how to cover his tracks~.

With one of his duties fulfilled, Guan-thwei Traveled through the woods moving closer to the concrete 'jungle' that could be seen in a distance, while his brothers will remain hidden from the world inside of a natural cavern that had no signs of life nor signs of anything remotely alive to have lived in it for the past 20 years.

with all sorts of bizarre wildlife around, the Yautja studied everything he came across from different plants to even the landscape for anything usable should his equipment become obsolete.

It was a craftsman's intrigue towards the land, checking to see what level of craftsmanship will he need to worry about.

After reaching a few miles away from the crash site, Guan-thwei stayed up on the trees after detecting a strange human around.

The human male was nearly naked like he had been through hell and the scans showed that his whole skeletal frame was made of metal that was oddly similar to the metals used to make the ships that elite hunters owned.

The strange human had three of them like claws in both of his arms, he was short yet had a good amount of muscle in his little frame, how he was acting reminded the young Yautja of a tired yet still capable beast.

Which served to make the predator be excited from the feeling of coming across a fellow 'predator.'

The ripped-up blue, black yellow clothes covered his other features but even then it made the predator think of some of the stuff Machiko had told him about her world during one of their conversations.

The yautja began thinking back on what was the word that she used to call the people who were white-skinned.

Amereekan?

Sounds kind of off but that didn't matter now,

He wanted to test this human's skills especially when he was equipped with weapons made from materials that only the elite had access to!

Once he reached around 100 meters away from the human, the male began sniffing around before growling.

This made the yautja begin clicking his mandibles, curious as to what the man was doing, but as soon as his mandibles clicked for the first time.

the human turned tense and started looking around mostly towards the trees!

As if he was familiar with this kind of situation.

This made Guan-thwei wonder.

"did this human come across one of his kind?"

Usually, if that was the case, if the man was a survivor this was a trophy that needed to be claimed, but, if it turned out that the human was a respected one, this would leave a bad taste in his mouth.

Thus the young yautja made a hard decision.

To spare the human and possibly learn more about this world and the language that still escaped him due to having learned Japanese only from Machiko.

So he initiated the conversation with the human that had his claws already drawn while keeping his distance.

"Human, do you understand me?"(in Japanese)

Interestingly enough the human did and replied in broken Japanese full of vigilance and tension while growling like an animal.

"Where you!? mandible-faced freak!"

Since they could have a conversation The yautja was somewhat excited to learn something new, however, he needed the human to calm down.

But the most important part was the words he used earlier.

Mandible-faced freak?

He wasn't sure what the last part meant but the yautja had a feeling it related to his face and he was confident in his looks and dregs.

Before moving to another spot and maintaining his distance from the angered human.

"Did you fuck one of us before?" (In Japanese)

The words came out wrong due to the misinformation of a certain Japanese girl failing to fully explain some important details, hell, even the human was dumbstruck by the question~

But Guan-thwei didn't know that and his excellent memory helped him remember every little syllable and pronunciation that Machiko taught him and with the number of language sessions she gave him the yautja was too naive and completely ignorant to the pranks of his fellow hunter that found it funny to mess with him.

The human's answer would decide whether there will be a fight between them or if the yautja will use him as a mobile learning center~

Guan-thwei was never one to attack recklessly most of the time..., at least, he loved using different ways to hunt his prey, even more so now with no one to praise his work, no one to elevate him into a blooded one.

With a bow that he crafted himself, getting fully drawn and aimed at the human, the Yautja was ready to kill this human.

Guan-thwei had a long life ahead of him and it wouldn't hurt to have some way to entertain himself, with this human being a possible ally or a trophy, but despite his ideas and plans, Guan-thwei was secretly hoping to make a trophy out of the human.

The answer he received made things rather peculiar.

"What the fuck!? Don't make me gut you as I did with the other one like you, years ago!" (in English)

leading the yautja to be confused as he didn't understand so he asked.

"Could you repeat that?" (in Japanese)

This time with his bio helmet processing the words to get a cross-reference on what the man just said, however, for the human this sounded like a taunt!

The human growled as his patience wasn't his strong suit.

Thus relying on his keen senses, he darted towards the tree that guan-thwei was on thanks to the sound of his bowstring getting strained.

The young Yautja decided to test the limits of this human and aimed for the head of his charging adversary.

The human brought both claws in front of his head in instinct before the heavy arrow was deflected away!

This made the man stumble and lose his balance due to how his position was and the power behind the arrow, making it really awkward for him to continue forward.

With a roll, the man quickly got back to running nearly reaching the tree, but two more arrows aimed for his head again one of them he clawed away, the second was right behind the one before it rendering him unable to guard against it.

The human had no choice but to quickly tilt his body to the side to try and dodge the incoming arrow.

He failed miserably as a large chunk of his skin and flesh got ripped off by the arrow!

He grunted once more before falling on all fours then he started moving faster and efficiently like an animal.

One thing was certain, at this moment Guan-thwei may have found a worthy warrior!
