Hearing snow's voice for the first time in a while made Kyle happy and relieved he didn't loose her. But he wasn't expecting the sudden bombshell he was about receiving from his system.

R-rank E demons? Kyle stuttered in shock hearing those words. He didn't know much about demons except the few Lilith had told him. He'd just became a demon some weeks back but he was levelling up fast and getting stronger thanks to his demon wife and other members of his harem.

According to his demon's wife words: demons are classified into nine ranks from rank f being the lowest and rank SSS being the highest. He'd only become a demon some weeks back after he got the system with Lilith's help. Kyle! Get out of there now! Snow shouted in his head again seeing he was still standing there. The panic in her tone made Kyle wary as snow was only like this on certain special circumstances which were a danger to his life.

Not wanting to waste more time here Kyle turned back running at full speed away from these ominous creatures. Not wanting to have anything to do with them. On instinct he abruptly stopped feeling the hairs on his skin stand at attention.

The next second a boulder besides him exploded into bit small derbies of stones flying everywhere. Looking ahead Kyle could see a necrolite in front blocking the exit.

Leaving so soon already? We didn't even get to know each other better. The creature known as void eater snarled with a malicious intent irking Kyle's stomach. Kyle could also see the remaining necrolites had now surrounded him two by his side and the last behind him.

You fucking useless timekeeper. You led and outsider into the inner gathering. Paying with your blood would be an easy way to repay your sins. Reaper coldly spoke darting a murderous glare at the timekeeper by the left side.

I apologize for my incompetence.. allow me to kill this traitor before I offer myself as an offering for my sins. The timekeeper apologized bowing his head down a bit.

You're not dying today timekeeper infact you did a good job luring him to us. The last necrolite behind Kyle spoke in a hoarse voice. Void eater and reaper frowned upon hearing his words but they didn't dare utter a word simply grunting in frustration.

Swoosh! Seizing the opportunity Kyle shot a ball of dark flames to the necrolite behind. The ball was fast speeding towards the creature who simply stood there unfazed by the incoming attack.

Just when the dark flaming ball was close the necrolite effortlessly slapped the ball of flames away. Sending it crashing into a boulder destroying some parts of it.

H-how did it deflect dark flames so easily. Kyle stuttered in shock his eyes widened with disbelief. The first demon skill Kyle got from the system was dark flames which was also demons primary skill.

He'd used it in almost all his battles as it not only took lesser dark energy amongst his other skills. But it was also effective and could be used as both long and short range skill.

Haha! Seems like the dark ones are watching over us afterall.. You're a demon aren't you? The necrolite calmly asked staring at Kyle. The latter was a bit surprised they didn't recognize it earlier but he wasn't that sure if they knew and pretended.

So what if am a demon. It doesn't matter am still going to kill you. Kyle calmly spoke trying to act tough to which the necrolite simply smirked revealing it's sharp teeths.

You're different from all the other demons I've met boy. Your aura is strange I can tell you're just an f rank demon. The necrolite spoke in a coarse husky tone causing the other necrolites to burst out in laughter.

I can't escape now the only option I have us to get as much information as I can before the battle begins. Kyle inwardly thought scanning his surroundings. He hadn't encountered another demon apart from Lilith before not to mention four E rank demons. He could sense their aura's were very powerful seeping out from them and even choking him a bit but he stood his ground.

You're quite cocky for an f rank demon. All the other f rank demons knew their places as inferiors and the few that stepped out of line. Well.. let's just say they got a lesson to die for. The necrolite grinned evily waving his hand gesturing the others to finish off Kyle.

Turning a black portal formed in it's front which made Kyle's eye go wide as he knew that demon had conjured up that black portal.

I-if that necrolite can create portals then it's definitely a threat. Kyle thought as it was only Lilith he knew who could create such portals. And knowing his demon wife she was powerful.

Get rid of him then meet up back at the spot. He commanded to which they all nodded bowing their heads a bit as the necrolite stepped through the portal which then closed like it was never there before.

Kyle didn't give them the chance to react shooting out jetskis of dark flames to void eater and reaper deeming those two as more potential threats. The flames were fast catching them off balance as it connected to their bodies. Kyle had expected them to be blasted away by the flames but instead they simply stood still unaffected by dark flames.

That tickles.. void eater wryly smiled. Under Kyle's shocked expression he could see the scorching flames that disintegrated skins slowly fade out. There wasn't a single scratch on void eater body.

Damn it stop toying with your food void eater! Reaper impatiently yelled wanting to get this over with already.

You know I can't help it.. void eater smirked to which reaper rolled his eyes. The next moment he appeared besides Kyle swinging it's sharp claws to the latter's head.

[Shadow walk activated!]

Kyle's body turned into dark shadows as reaper's claw phased through him.

Phew.. that was close. Kyle sighed in relief seeing he was almost killed from that strike. But his face soon contorted into a frown as the system's notification popped up in his view.

I was still hit even in shadow walk? Kyle was sure he was enveloped in shadows before reapers attack hit so why was his hp still deducted.

Kyle even though shadow walk allows you to be immune to attacks in this form there are still some attacks that has a high probability of penetrating. Especially when it's from high level opponents. Snow slowly explained.

So you're saying am not immune in shadow walk. Kyle asked leaping off a boulder as it was destroyed the next second from reapers fist.

Technically yes you're not immune to every attack in shadow walk.

Frowning Kyle was a bit disappointed as he was reminded of the hitter fact he was still weak. When he acquired shadow walk things seemed to have been going in his favour but now his bad luck had struck again.

You shouldn't be disappointed Kyle these demons are at the E rank whilst you recently became an f rank. Snow softly spoke in a reassuring calm voice making Kyle a bit relieved. And not to mention these demons are different.

By different you mean dangerous and unpredictable? Kyle asked to which snow confirmed.

Yes but how do you know?

Because of that. Looking ahead Kyle could see void eater now had an item clutched in his hand. Which was weird as void eater and timekeeper had refrained from interfering between him and reaper which made him wonder why now. Looking closer he could recognize the small dark ball with spikes spinning rapidly making his face go pale.

Death's call.. Kyle barely muttered with wide eyes.

Kyle get out of there now. Snow screamed but Kyle stood still frozen unable to move his body for some unknown reason.

Come on move you fucking legs. Kyle struggled to move his legs but his body wasn't paying any heed to his commands.

Time to die traitor. Void eater grinned throwing the dark ball without hesitating. The ball shot fast piercing through the air reaching Kyle in a heartbeat colliding with his body.

Boom!

An explosion occured as the ball crashed with Kyle in shadow walk form blasting some boulders to bits.

The systems notifications flashed across his view as the shadows dispersed from his body. Dark chains sprung from the ground fast wrapping his body tightening by the second constricting him.

Shit I have to get out from here or am dead. Kyle inwardly thought his vision going hazy as he could feel the life being sucked out from him fast. He needed to act fast or he'll be dead literally in the next 3 seconds.
