Pinocchio had the option to go nuclear. By creating a paradox, he'd essentially be able to hard reset his universe, deleting everything that's currently within it.
A simple phrase such as, "My nose is going to grow," would have sufficed. This would trigger a build up of infinite energy pulled from nonexistence, marking the beginning of the end as well as the approach of a new era.
