Under the black pool

With clothes soaked in blood, and a pond four meters away, Situ did not seem to have any plans of stopping.

He could feel the bird behind him approaching but he knew his body would not be able to make it if he continued to try confusing it using the previous tactics. Besides, he had been hit a few times showing how unreliable his methods was.

Since he came to this world, he actually felt the threat of death many times but this one was intense and made him afraid. But he did not plan to die again rather tried to calm himself even after hearing the sound of the bird approaching.

He moved to the side by Just a meter and revived the impact, using the attack of the bird to propel him closer to the pool. It worked as he had been send close with only a step to enter the pool.

Though it ended up causing his injuries to intensify, it saved him a great deal of effort to cover the distance.

With just one more movement he had reached the and even stopped worrying about the bird. He did not care about the danger in the pool either. He feel into the pool due to loss of power, and was struggling to remain consciousness.

The cold water on the other end, managed to get him slightly sober, due to the shock, but the strength in the body was leaving him.

As he kept drowning, he could see some light in the darkness, even though it was not that much, his body tried to fall towards it.

Using all reminaing strength he diverted his body towards the light as he felt there was some hope to survive there.

He was not someone that wanted to die in this place at all. All this time he took the situation less seriously because he had not realized that he could die any time, even when he encountered beasts the other time and fled to the cave he did not feel helpless as he was today. In this kind of situation where nothing works and escape is not even an option, he is just waiting for death, how can Situ not feel helpless.

It was due to the energy gathered in the place that was being absorbed by the plan sized stone.

"where is this place? " He wanted to reach out and touch the statues but restrained himself as he looked up, he could see a blue curtain. He was already starting to make up some thoughts about things.
