The following week was quiet as it appears that Yami is gathering for something. Xander took this time to get his bike licence and test out of high school. The test was easy for the young man with the mind stat of 150.

All that meditating and Ki training has helped Xander with his Mind and Spirit. It was an extremely difficult thing for Xander to do as he was more of a physical type of guy.

His Ki control did improve though, mainly thanks to Seikuken though he would never admit it.

It was Friday evening, and Kenichi was feeling really nervous. He sucked at this kind of thing whether it was Xander or Kenichi.

'No' he thought to himself 'I've been stalling long enough'

"Hey Kenichi, is something wrong?" Miu asked the distraught Kenichi

"Yes, I mean no… WouldYouLikeToGoOutOnADateTomorrow?" he spoke so fast it took Miu a second to understand and then a couple more to comprehend

Face red as cherry, she found the floor looked quite interesting and her mouth dry as the desert "um.. I, I mean… um" he face became even more red as she answered "yes" with the softest voice possible

"Great… see you at ten tomorrow morning then" he said with a blush 'Damn hormones I'm an adult'

[Actually, as your mind and body reset, it is more accurate to say you are Kenichi with Xander's memories] Scarlet 'Helpfully' pointed out

'Gee thanks' Xander mentally rolled his eyes (don't ask how) and turned to Miu "don't wear a skirt" he told her as he walked away causing Miu to tilt her head sideways in a way that if Xander saw it, he'd think it's adorable.

As Xander left the Dojo that night to prepare for the date, he missed the chaos his actions caused there. In his emotional turmoil Xander missed the presence of Renka around the corner, whom had an odd glint in her eyes.

The next morning Miu was practically attacked by the girls as they planned what she would dress, how to do her makeup, how to style her hair and so on. The young woman was flustered to say the least but smiled fondly as she watched Kisara and Renka argued back and forth being the most vocal in the group.

"Thank you" she spoke with teary eyes. She never had friends her age and now, thanks to Kenichi, she had sisters

Blushing, Kisara harrumphed "it's just that they would mess up if I let them do it" she spoke snidely though her blush was still there

"Don't listen to that tsundere" Renka waved to an indignant "HEY" dismissively "I'm doing this for my sister wife as a good sister wife should and would"

This caused Miu to blush and Kisara to blush further but not deny anything as her attention was taken by Freya, who was taking notes and Shigure who had a thoughtful look on her face

"Can I have a list of those duties?" Shigure asked after a minute of silence causing Freya to join her in staring at Renka through half lidded eyes which was made more creepy by the fact that their eyebrows were similar as well

'Is it a requirement for weapon mistresses to be Kuudere and have odd eyebrows?' Renka and Kisara shared the thought

Miu was standing in front of the Dojo gate, thanking the gods her grandfather was out on one of his journeys. It was just before ten when she heard the roar of an engine coming closer.

Looking in the direction of the sound, she saw Kenichi coming on a red bike that she didn't recognize. Then again, her knowledge in that matter can be limited to "bikes are cool".

"Good morning Kenichi" she greeted the young man wearing the black leather jacket, as he took off his helmet.

"good morning Miu" Xander replied as he took a moment to enjoy the sight of Miu in a pink shirt and light blue jeans that seem to be two sizes two small "you look beautiful" he spoke with a dopy smile causing Miu to blush and several giggles to be heard from behind the gate

Intentionally ignoring the giggling, Xander took out a helmet from the bike's bag and handed it to Miu "Shall we?"

Miu smiled beautifully "we shall" it took only a moment for her to put on her helmet and ride behind Kenichi.

It took Kenichi a minute to adjust to the feeling of Miu hugging him… you know why.

Once he was settled, he took off on his very custom Yamaha VMAX. The original being a tombstone for riders, Xander made an effort to improve the handling and to have breaks strong enough to actually stop the bike. Few more modifications here and there and Xander and Miu were riding the bike like the wind.

The two rode the bike for hours, simply enjoying the ride and each other's presence. They stopped for lunch and small breaks. By the evening, they were in a highway rest area in the mountains. It was near a cliff with a beautiful view off the city.

"Here" Xander spoke, breaking Miu out of her thoughts "I heard the strawberry crepe is great here" he explained handing said crepe to her

"Thank you" she smiled as she turned back towards the city view. Kenichi didn't say anything, simply enjoying the view with her.

"That was fun" she spoke softly

Xander released a breath he didn't know he was holding "thank god" he spoke causing her to look at him with a raised brow "I was contemplating going to a fancy restaurant actually but then I realised neither I nor you have knowledge on the etiquette required in those" he explained.

Though he lied about him not knowing as he was trained in those matters by the watchers and Dracula, but it wouldn't do to deprecate a young lady on something not her fault. So he chose to join her in the fault causing it to be a non-issue to her and more of a something unfitting to them.

Miu giggled at his deflated posture causing him to return a weak smile "as much as I dreamt of a normal date, I don't think it will be as fun as this" she waved towards the view with the sun setting in the background "I'll take this view any day of the week over a fancy restaurant"

Xander perked up at that. Maybe he did something right today. He then noticed Miu fidgeting with a blush and if he was a clueless teen, he would've asked her what's wrong, but he wasn't.

Slowly snaking his arm around her waist, he pulled her to him causing her to release a soft 'eep'. She looked into his eyes and he into her own. They softly inched closer and closer, lost in their world…

They kissed.

It was an explosion of senses. All but sight and sound was dialled to eleven as the lip lock continued and their tongue battled for supremacy. The addictive taste, the intoxicating smell, the soft touch, it was overwhelming.

So much so that Xander missed the system notification:
