Chapter 13

Diane was about to ask Jeremy a question when the door opened.

She has a lot of questions that she needs answers to.

How did he know she was here?

Why had he come to see her?

Does he care about her that much?

"Hi..I. I'm sorry to interrupt, I am about to take my leave". Rhea's stuttering voice gave Diane the sudden urge to laugh as her eyes widened upon seeing Jeremy.

" Why are you leaving now?" Diane asked, seeming to enjoy how nervous her friend was.

She couldn't blame her because Jeremy sat beside her with a frown displayed on his face, no one would have been able to guess how playful he was before she came in.

"I have something to do," she replied, her eyes darting nervously between both of them. His presence felt like a distraction to her, Diane remembered how she had been unable to stop staring at him the first few days she started working with him.

His eyes are so breathtaking that they did justice to high cheekbones.
