The only reason Ashley wasn't able to detect the incoming presence was because she was busy dealing with a handsome, little liar as well as trying to gain proper control of her new body after the fight with the wolves. Ashley closed her eyes and took a deep breath, preparing herself for the next battle. She willed her twin blades out of her spatial dimension and swirled them in her hands. Zen narrowed his eyes at Ashley's figure. Such precise control of her dimension? Was she an expert? How intriguing. Ashley languidly looked at the man who jumped towards her and effortlessly swiped her right hand at his head, neatly cutting it off. The man's eyes were wide as his head was severed from his body. His head fell on the damp forest floor with a light thump and the rest of the men paused their incoming steps in astonishment. They were told that she was strong, but not this extent! To be able to cut one of their heads off in a single move was no easy feat, even for opponents stronger than them. Zenos had recognised the uninvited company as soon as they arrived, after all there wasn't much he didn't know in regards to powerful people affiliated with each domain. The men in black became more aggressive and rushed at once towards Ashley. Zenos silently watched as the men in black collectively ignored him and were all ganging up on Ash. He wasn't surprised in the least as he had made himself invisible; an ability he possessed. He patiently waited, expecting the little girl to turn around and ask for help, not that he was going to and not that she could as his body couldn't be seen. She killed seven more men as seconds ticked by, without uttering a word for help from the invisible man next to her. Zenos stood there wordlessly, watching as all the men died the same gruesome death, without the time to even scream as life instantly left their bodies. An ever-present and daring smirk was present on Ash's face as she stood her ground. Her figure looked so elegant as she dodged all attacks and thrust her daggers forward without any extra or wasted movements. Her moves were so precise and effective that it would send shivers down one's spine from pure amazement. The death's dance. These were the words that popped into Zen's mind as he watched her. The floor was littered with headless corpses, the sliced off heads heaped up nearby. The earth was soiled a ghastly red and the sight so terrible that it would send anyone into nightmares. Contrary to what Zen was thinking, Ashley was too busy to take notice of the man who had silently disappeared. If Zenos was surprised at first, now he was amazed by her.
This skill. This aura. It was something very few possessed. It was as if she was born to rule and command. Ashley returned her daggers and turned around to face Zen, who she saw was silently contemplating something. Zen looked up and made direct eye contact with Ash. His eyes slightly widened in surprise.
