A stranger in Jin city

As they arrived in the city, the girl saw that It was really busy there.

"What's going on here?" she asked,

"It's because of the wedding, people are preparing" he responded,

"Ah I see," she said then sighed and he saw the snake looking at him.

"Can I touch the snake?" he asked,

'Sure" she responded as Hu placed his hand out and the snake rubbed its head against his hand then he smiled and so did she.

"Goldie likes you," she said,

"It's not goldie that I want to like me but I am glad she does" he replied,

"Huh, you... want... lord Hu you might have been well forceful a few times but that does not mean you are a bad person" she said,

'Well I am glad to hear that and also sorry" he replied.

"It's fine," she said as she stopped to buy some ingredients for her dumplings that she loves to eat.

"Want a few dresses?" he asked and she stared at him,

"I will take that as a yes," he said and she smiled,

"Hu I am fine, I don't need dresses" she replied,

"I know but I will still buy," he said then she sighed and paid the vendor then went with him to select a few dresses.

It turned out Hu had a good choice and he was not that much of a horrible person as she thought.

"Why do you want to marry me?" she asked and his eyes widened.

"Because my family wants me to" he responded,

"Seems more than just your family," she said and he smiled,

'Maybe it is more than my family, just maybe, not that it matters though, not when you are starting to fall in love with someone else" he replied.

"If you wanted could you call off the wedding?" she asked and he sighed,

"No I can't" he responded,

"Ah okay," she said as she picked up a dress that he chose.

"Are you sure you want that one?" he asked,

"Yeah I am sure, come on I want to have Ice cream" she responded,

"Again?" he asked,

"What? do you have somewhere to go?" she asked,

"Nope come on" he responded then they walked to the ice cream shop.

Upon arriving there she remembered that she had to drink her medication and wanted to go back but then saw that Hu was already ordering the ice cream, so she sat down ignoring the fact that she could harm herself.

"What flavor would you like ma'am?" the guy that was selling the ice cream asked,

'She would use a chocolate" Hu responded and Lien left staring at him.

"Damn it if I cancel the wedding it will cause a lot of problems," she said to herself,

"It's been a while since I last had an outing," he said and she sighed,

"He really is not that different from Wang," she said to herself.

"If you want we can hang out a little I guess but as friends," she said,

"Sure I would love to" he replied as he ate his ice cream.

A little while after they finished eating and were heading to the carriage she bumped into a guy whom face was covered and his eyes were green but she could not see him properly but he was acting suspiciously.

"Lord... Hu can we hurry back?" she asked as they got in the carriage.

"Yeah sure, let's go" he responded then they left.

On their way there Hu noticed the snake was gone.

"Uh... lady Lien your snake is gone," he said and she got nervous then started looking around for it.

"That guy, stop" she shouted as she got out of the carriage and ran back into the market.

Hu followed her.

"What's wrong?" he asked,

"There is this strange guy he bumped into me and now my snake is missing, I am sure something is wrong here" she responded,

"Okay relax and stay here I will look around," he said,

"Okay," she replied as Hu left looking for the stranger guy with green eyes and his face covered.

Lien stood in one corner and waited for Hu.

"My lady are you okay?" one of the vendors asked,

"Yes I am fine thank you" she responded,

"I think by running I just made my feet hurt, even more, damn it who on earth would run with a leg like mine, so stupid," she said to herself with a sigh as she held on to her feet.

"Here is some ice my lady it will help you if you are in pain," the vendor said as she collected it,

"Thank you" she replied then placed the ice on her feet and when the vendor saw the condition of her feet, she offered her some herbs from Mount Yin.

"Here this will help, apply it three times a day," the woman said,

"Thank you for everything I will do as you say" she replied then drank some water.

The girl then looked up and saw the sky above the valley of flowers turned black and then she saw the same guy.

Her eyes widened then she left in the direction of the valley to the east.

Upon arriving there she saw her snake in a cage.

"Goldie" she called out quietly and the snake heard her then looked at her.

The girl saw that the snake's body was completely bruised up.

"Ah... so you finally made it?" the guy asked and the girl swallowed deeply.

"Who... who are you?" she asked as the guy turned towards her.

'I am not going to hurt you if that's what you are worried about, I am here for some personal business I suggest you stay out of it Lady Lien" he responded,

"It's not personal when you have my pet," she said and he smiled.

"That snake is mine" he replied.

"What do you mean Goldie is yours?" she asked as the snake looked at her.

"Looks like you have created quite a bond but it will never betray me for you," the guy said and the girl pulled her sword.

"What's your business in my city?" she asked.
