*Brrugh*

My body felt cold as I struggled to even prop myself off the cold stone ground. Fresh bright-blood splattered in front of me, painting parts of my hand and body. But the small amount which landed back onto my clothes mixed in with the rest which continued to flow out of me.

My throat had been crushed to a point where I could barely breath.

My chest had several stab wounds, most of which punctured my lungs.

Of course they weren't the only injuries, but they were the ones which were the most prominent.

But I had something else to worry about.

'I'm supposed to be a Seventh Stage Golden Core expert! Yet, this is all I'm reduced to?! Master has wasted all these resources on me!! I should have been content just being behind him instead of standing next to him. At least maybe then he would have maybe even broken through..

NO! He was just caring for me and protecting me... but I failed him. It's all in the past now, I need to get to him! I have to get to him!!'

Even simply lifting my head took some strength away from me.

Simply reaching my hand out toward the stone path in front of me was agonizing. Pulling myself forward was even worse as felt like I was a mortal once more. The coarseness of the ground only made it worse.

Each inch I traveled scraped my body including some of my tails that I no longer had strength to control.

*Tang* *Tang* *Clang* Echoes of clashing metal radiate from the direction I'm crawling towards.

'Noo! They started! H-he doesn't know about what she brought with her!

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Of course she had to found out I knew as soon I started running to tell him! That damned vixen!'

She knew of my feelings towards master, so instead of outright killing me she disabled all my ways of communicating with him! I could still feel her hand's lingering warm crushing my throat.

She had such a sinister and malicious smile that she displayed. Did master mean nothing to her! When he professed his love, she accepted, was it all a façade? Just for this moment to kill him? Why?

*Brrugh*

Along the way I coughed up more blood dyeing the ground red. But I was almost there, I just had to climb up a few steps more and I'd be able to see what was happening! Their auras as they fought emitted around the surroundings, possibly surrounding the entire residence.

My hands trembled as I envisioned countless terrible ends, but I just pushed them to the back of my mind, thinking to myself that they wouldn't happen.

Out of fear and nervousness of what I could possibly see my hand slipped making me tumble down a few steps. Yet those simple few steps felt like I had fallen off a mountain.

Even with such horrendous pain I couldn't scream or yelp. It wasn't that I held myself back, but because I physically couldn't anymore.

Lifting myself back up I finally made it and managed to see them. But The scene that I finally got to see was the one I feared most coming true.

"Ma-hhhhuuh-ss-hhuhhu-ter..." I tried as hard as I could to release my voice, yet I sounded like I was an inch away from death. The barely audible sound of course didn't reach them. My eyes welled up with tears as I trembled and watched, unable to change anything.

I must of reached the fight at a very crucial time as she finally took out her secret weapon.

An Chu took out a small golden needle from her pocket. It was in immaculate condition, shining upon being taken out.

Master had just slid back from supposedly one of her attacks as he held up a sword.

Suddenly An Chu threw out the needle instantly arriving and piercing master in his chest. The aura he emited vanished in an instant.

"Chu'er! Why would you do this to me?! What have I done to you?!" Master had a look of shock and sadness as he yelled at her.

"Tch! Even now you don't get it? I never had any affection for you, after all I already someone else. I can finally stop pretending to be your lover." A look of disdain was etched across her face as she looked at master.

"It's been five years and you still think about him? Why did you accept my proposal in the first place then?!" Anguish was that master seemed to be eluding.

"Why do you think I accepted in the first place, if it wasn't for him wanting revenge do you think I would even look at you? He should be here soon, so I hope you're ready." A new tone was added to her voice, contempt, contempt for the one in front of her.

I struggled the whole way towards master, finally being noticed once I entered the opened parts of the court.

"Huh? So, your little fox slave made it all the way here. How resilient. Did you know that she loves you? Humph, fitting a man like you dying next to a slave is just like how you should be." I ignored her continuing my crawl towards master.

"Daji... I'm sorry master has failed you..." Master hobbled over to me like he was sapped on all his strength. Seeing him like this tore my heart.

"How do you like this Mortal Reverting Needle? You can barely even walk now. Haha." An Chu Chuckled to herself.

As soon as master neared me I sensed another aura appear and before master and I knew it that person arrived next to An Chu.

"Excellent work! Excellent work, An Chu!" The man bellowed staring at both master and I.

"Of course husband! This wife of yours has done everything you've wished." An Chu appeared extremely respectful of the man who arrived.

"Now that you're like this will you beg me to spare your pitiful life? This all could have been avoided if you sold me this fox girl slave of yours." The disgusting man looked lewdly at me.

"H-husband, your wife is right here! If you have any wishes or desires you could simply ask me for them and I'd gladly oblige to them all!" An Chu said a little hesitantly

"Quiet! Who told you you could interfere with my wishes?! Know your place woman! Now your master here is going to watch as I ravage you right in front of him. I've waited five whole years for this moment!" He stepped ever closer as his lewd smile widened with each and every step.

"NOOO!!! Damn you!" Master cursed as he tried to shield me from the disgusting man's assault.

"Out of my way!" With a simple slap he launched master to crash into the courtyard's wall.

'NOOOOO!!!!! MASTER!!!!'

An Chu gave master a long glance before speaking while forward towards the man, "Husband, you shouldn't she's already been tainted by him!"

"What did I just tell you! Letting you be alone with this man for five years was a mistake! Look how disobedient you've become!" The man turned around slapping An Chu as well before turning back to me.

After the slap An Chu looked listless and fell silent standing in place.

"Haha! Slave from now on I'm your new master, so listen well! An my first order is to come over here and let me fuck you above your old master's dead body. That slapped should have killed him since he's now a mortal." The disgusting man came ever closer while loosening his robes all the while.

'If I can't be with master then I would live at all!! I'm Golden Core expert, huh? Well since they should all be around my realm/stage this detonation should kill them.'

Immediately, I activated the detonation of my Golden Core determine to kill myself and maybe even take these two out as well. The Golden Core I've cultivated within me began tearing itself up like a black hole had suddenly appeared within.

"Huh-damn you slave! How dare you disobey your master! Tch! An Chu take her down, alive! I need her alive!" The man bellowed with no response.

After a breath the man's smug expression changed as he turned around to look at the distraught An Chu. "Woman! Move damn it!" The man yelled urging the woman to do something by shaking her.

An Chu suddenly broke down crying on her knees.

"I-I shouldn't of done that to him!! Why did I do it? I'm so stupid! I shouldn't have done that! He's the only one who's actually loved me for who I am, yet I did such a horrible thing to him! Now I know why every word I said earlier pained me so much to udder... I-I tried to steel myself and my heart, but it didn't work! Why did I expect him to be ay different than before."

"What! What are you saying woman!" The man hearing An Chu say such things started beating her, almost entirely forgetting about me. "OH NOOOO!!! Wait stop, stop, stop I order you slave!" The man began to sweat as he looked at me.

'Goodbye Master no, Ip Cheng. Maybe in the next life I could be your lover instead of a slave.'

Once all the strands disappeared into the core everything around became a bright white for but a moment, but it turned dark once more.

There was an extreme darkness surrounding me one which seemed like light would never be able to appear.

'So is this what life after death is like? Samsara, huh? But, I don't want to forget my memoires with Ip Cheng. They're precious to me, being a majority of my happy memories. I guess I don't really have a choice in this matter though.'

Suddenly a light appear in the dark. I might as well go, there was nothing to do waiting here anyway.

As I came closer and closer to the light the feeling of my limbs began to appear once again.

Then all of a sudden.

*Gasp!*

My eyes opened seeing the slightly cloudy blue clouds above. I blinked a few times before quickly sitting up to look at myself.

'I'm alive? No wait, my tails! I only have one! Where did the other ones go? Huh? That's not right, I'm only just starting to temper my body in the Body Refinement realm? That was ages ago, before I even met master Ip Cheng!!!'

Only after having this thought did I look around at my surroundings. There was carnage everywhere, a couple turned over carriages and completely destroyed ones. Bodies of many people scattered around the area most of them belonging to my fox tribe. Our characteristics while in human form having our fox ears and fox tails.

'What is happening? Isn't this the moment just before I had become captured to be a slave?! Can I change the past?! Is this the past?!'

I ran hiding behind a carriage and entered it through a destroyed side as soon as I remembered. Not long after that though, 10 sets of footsteps appear where I was moments ago.

'If I had waited another dozen breaths I would of been captured and enslaved for 3 years until I met Master Ip Cheng! Perhaps I could meet him early this life!

Thank you Samsara for giving me this gift! I'll never forget it!

Anyway now I just have to meet him and take his heart away first so he won't fall for that An Chu! What was so great about her anyway?! Humph!

Huh what's this?'

Inside the carriage I was in there was a small box that was slightly ajar. There was still something inside though, evident by the shine.

Opening it up there was a two small pill bottles, one being a medicine and the other a cultivation pill for the Body Refinement realm, how convenient.
