Louis was quiet for a while before he gently touched Alicia's face, saying softly, "Take it easy. Divorce is a big decision, don't rush into it."

Alicia glanced down and responded, "I'm calm enough now. I know you love me and I love you too. You've tried so hard for our marriage, but it's hurting too many people. Someone even lost his lives because of us. I'm just tired and I want it to stop. I need a break."

Seeing her determination, Louis realized he couldn't just talk her out of it. He closed his eyes, holding back his emotions.

A moment later, he opened his eyes and spoke softly, "I'm going out for some fresh air."

Alicia nodded quietly. Louis stood up, fixed her clothes, and tucked her in before leaving the room. As he opened the door, he bumped into Genevieve. She was holding a cup and greeted him, "Louis, where are you going?"

Looking sad, Louis didn't answer and walked away. Genevieve was puzzled.
