After Louis felt better, he and Alicia headed back to their home in Rockmountain, with Chuck and Basemmath, and a bunch of bodyguards.
Basemmath and Daniyal were quick to sort out all the treasure they had. They sent what they could to California, and the rest, which couldn't be moved across borders, they gave to Chuck to sell at local auctions.
One day, Alicia got a phone call from Basemmath. He wanted to meet her. She went to see him at his hotel at the arranged time, and he handed her two scrolls.
Alicia carefully unrolled the scrolls to reveal two beautiful paintings. One was a painting from the Tang Dynasty by Yan Liben, called "The Emperor's Procession." The other was a Qing Dynasty artwork by Yang Jin, "Riding an Ox in Stone Valley."
