It was like jumping from a really tall building. Alicia's heart was going crazy, her eyes hurting from tears she wouldn't let fall. She held on tight to Louis' hand, begging him. "You've had too much to drink, don't decide anything now, alright?"
Louis just laughed quietly, a sad sound. "I'm not acting crazy. I've been dealing with you for three years. That's enough."
"You've... been dealing with me... for three years?" Alicia couldn't believe it.
Louis's eyes were ice cold. His decision wasn't a sudden thing, but thought out and sure.
Alicia's heart turned to ice. She tried really hard to smile. A smile that was sadder than a cry. "Have I really been hurting you that much?"
"Yes." Louis sounded as if he didn't care, but his heart felt like it was stabbed.
