An Outsider

The man stood tall and straight like a tree. His eyebrows were sharp, his features good-looking, and his well-fitted black shirt showed his strong waist. He gave off an air of seriousness and greatness. It was Louis.

When Alicia called to ask him if he was coming over tonight, he felt something was wrong. She was always direct and rarely asked him if he would come or not.

Unusual situations usually meant problems. Indeed. She hadn't "let him down".

A cold smile was on Louis' lips. His eyes were unspeakably cold as he stood there, watching the two people obliviously standing together, their eyes meeting. Even though they weren't hugging or kissing, their eyes gave away their real feelings. Those eyes were passionate and shining. This was obviously the look of lovers meeting again.
