Prologue

Hello, my Kingdom!!! Author, Queen Se Yeon here!! Let's first get to know our protagonist.

Jennie Anderson is an energetic and extremely passionate girl. Her 'first love' is makeup and the art of beauty. Her dream is to become a great make-up artist and start up her own make-up and styling studio. She is open-minded, friendly, optimistic, clumsy but courageous, kindhearted and lovable. Academically, she has average grades. She likes music a lot and is addicted to guitars, though she doesn't know how to play it. She is like the person you can call, 'Jack of all trades but master of none'. She wants to be the perfect daughter for her parents, the perfect sister for her little brother and complete all her bucket list with a successful career of her choice, that's Make-up Artist. She faces heartbreak millions of times and awaits the person who will not hurt her and be with her forever. "The One" made for her. The ups and downs of her life, changes her as a person, from an innocent little girl to a mature and understanding teenager. Her trust and love for the world start to fade and she understands the bitter reality of this world. But this transition wasn't easy for her. This story starts with Jennie entering her middle school first year when she was just 11 years old and tells every life-changing incident of Jennie from 11 years of age till the present moment.

All through her journey, right from the first year of middle school, she meets Juleka Adams, and they become close friends in no time. Juleka is none other than her Carbon copy. Just a minor difference, Jennie is more outgoing and ambivert, while Jukela is introverted. She becomes ice freezing cold whenever she becomes nervous, but her palm starts to sweat. Disobeying the physics law, extreme coldness and hotness inside one body is what Juleka's nervousness. She loves to sing and has a beautiful melodious voice. Fair, beautiful and cute, with a perfect figure and charming smile is Juleka. She is the model of beauty. Jennie calls her, 'Jewel'. Of course, Juleka is a 'Jewel' she found in the middle of her life journey, and she knows how precious this 'Jewel' is for her.

These are the two main characters that won't leave the story from the beginning till its end! Others may or may not leave, but their friendship stands in stone forever! 

Now let's start with the prologue which is a middle piece of the novel, but it isn't the end...

I was all dressed up in my favourite peacock green frock, my hair down and my usual eye make-up of smokey effect. As three of us, me, Jay and his friend were walking downstairs, while walking I fell straight perpendicularly down and ended up as if I was sitting on that third step with my legs straight in attention. I let out a loud scream that echoed in the entire hallway at late night. That was damn embarrassing!! Jay turned back suddenly with a shocked reaction. He was shocked with his eyes wide open at what the hell just happened. He ran back four steps towards me and gave out his hand to me. He helped me stand up back and asked with concern, "Are you okay?!?!? That was too loud?? Walk slowly!! And, who wears those huge heels!? Here, take my hand!"

"Ah...yeah... I'm okay...I didn't hurt myself thankfully.", I replied. I'm an idiot! Yes, I am! I fell down, I surely didn't hurt myself badly but screamed out so loud in response to stimuli and then started laughing like a maniac as I held his hand. He was still not convinced that I was fine.

Immediately in the next few seconds, his friend who was with us fell on the next floor beneath us and let out a yell, less loud than mine but still loud enough to echo in the newly constructed building. Haha, I thought this scene couldn't get funnier. I wasn't able to control my laughter anymore. I was laughing with one hand in his hand and the other on my tummy that was hurting as I laughed till tears oozed out of my eyes. Jay's face was a mix of all reactions that exist, it was cute! His face showed a slight appearance of smile, a slight taste of confusion, a slight beauty of love in his eyes and a little spark of enjoyment looking at the entertaining scene.

Once we reached down, his friend left us and went to play with other guys. It was so peaceful and silent. Just Jay and I are entirely in the park at night. He asked me again reassuring me, "Are you really sure that you are okay? You are touching your head again and again. I think you hurt your head or something. Didn't you?", he asked worryingly. "Nooo... It's not that! I'm setting my hair. Because of falling back there, my hair got a little messy due to the sudden jerk. And, it's nothing new for me to fall. I keep falling every day, I'm so clumsy.", I replied with a gentle smile.

"Okay...if you say so...", he said smiling back. His smile could make anyone fall for him. "Well...it wasn't my fault that I fell down, you saw your friend too fell down. It was the staircase's fault!", I said and then continued correcting myself, "No, not even the stairs' fault, it was your fault!"

"Mine??!?! What did I even do?!?", he said widening his eyes and staring at me in confusion. I said blushingly, "Your presence! I saw you and 'fell'...." His reaction was out of the world. He was staring at me with kindness and pure love, with a slight smirk visible on the tip of his lips and I was loving the way he looked at me. Anyone could just melt at this kind of look depicting a whole contrasting character mix of coolness and hotness!!

A few moments later when we came to the park again, we sat down on the empty swings of the night park. We were having a general talk and his balance slipped from the swing and he just missed from falling down from the swing. I said worryingly, "Careful!!!! You would have got hurt!! Take it easy!!" He sat back properly and after a few seconds of silence said with a glorious smile and deep drowning eyes piercing through me, "I was about to fall down because of you, it was your fault, not mine!". He smirked at me. I couldn't get his intention at first and my natural reaction was, "My mistake?! What did I do?!"

"Your presence! It made me fall...for you...", he said looking deep into my eyes and I started blushing as we both flirted with each other.

His deep drowning eyes gave me a hangover, his gorgeous smile was killing me like a drug from inside that made it difficult for me to keep my emotions neutral. His perfect cut of jawline made adrenaline flow stronger in my veins, his flirt skills back on me made me desperate, he slowly holding my hand gave me goosebumps and skipped my heartbeat!! Everything was unusual! By the end I felt like, I wanted him!

I wanted him, I needed him, I started loving him, I wanted to kiss him and I just wanna be with him!! I think I found the "Miracle of my life?"
