Wish I Never

“I will not go with you, if you think that I will get in that car with you, you are clearly crazy and out of your damn mind!” I staggered back on my heels, a rough hand through my hair as I glared at him once my feet landed on the ground. “I don’t know what you want from me, one moment you hate me: another you’re acting all jealous and crazy – confusing the fuck out of me. Let me live my life please! Stay out of my business. I want to get drunk and get you out of my damn head!”

CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE

Jaden's Pov

I drew circles on the counter with my glass of ice on the rocks as I thought about this whole situation. Shaking my head, I brought the glass of ice on the rocks toward my mouth and took a sip just as my phone rang.

I put the glass down and grabbed my phone from my pocket and looked at it with a roll of an eye. "What do you want Lucy?" I leaned on my shoulder to hold my phone and grasped the glass with my hands.

"Don't talk to me like that and where the hell are you Jaden?!" Lucy shrieked on the other side of the phone, making me pull my ear away from it. "None of your business. So, if you excuse me? Find another puppy to manipulate, chau." I hung up on her and tossed my phone on the counter.

"Wow. I see that you're in a bad mood, so I'll go." A voice said from behind me, making me turn around slowly to face the person who already turned to leave.

I jumped from the chair and grabbed his arm. "No, stay." He turned around to face me and nodded his head. "Can we talk?"

I can't believe he called me. I couldn't help but jump in excitement at his call. Don't Andre. Don't get your hopes too high. Control yourself and take a deep breath, come on, in and out. Just like that. I grabbed my car keys and got out of my house, heading down the stairs and walked toward my car, pressing the lock to unlock the doors.

I got inside of my car and closed the door, putting the keys in and started the engine. Let's hope for the best. I drove away from in front of my house and drove until I was in front of a bar we were supposed to meet. I fisted my hands and bit my knuckles nervously, until I gathered the courage to get out of my car.

I turned off the engine and got out of my car, closing the door behind me and locked the doors, jogging toward the entrance of the bar. I took a deep breath as I pushed the bar door open, walking toward Jaden.

"None of your business. So, if you excuse me? Find another puppy to manipulate, chau" Jaden hung up on someone and tossed his phone on the counter. "Wow. I see that you're in a bad mood, so I'll go." I said from behind him, making him turn around slowly to face me just when I started to turn around to leave.

He jumped from the chair and grabbed my arm. "No, stay." I turned around to face him and nodded my head. "Can we talk?" I sighed and walked toward the bar, sitting on a chair. He followed me and sat down next to me, turning the chair to face me.

"If you're going to tell me what I already know you can save it." I grabbed his glass with ice on the rocks and chugged it down, getting out of the chair I was sitting on to leave as I put the glass down.

"I'm sorry okay." He shouted from behind me, making me stop. "It's not easy for me to admit that I'm different." I pressed my lips together to suppress the smile from appearing on my face. "I'm sorry for rejecting you. I have to admit that I was scared but I'm willing to give us a chance if you want to that is."

A smile appeared on my face, and I cleared my throat, turning around to cross my arms. "You have to try harder though." A smile lingered on his lips before he smiled widely. "Of course." I shook my head at him and uncrossed my arms, running one hand through my hair. "You want to have a drink with me?" I was about to answer him when my phone rang.

"Wait a sec. Hello?" My smile dropped and was replaced with a serious one as I listened carefully to Zoë. "I'll be right there." I hung up and looked up at Jaden. "Sorry but I have to leave, and I would love to have a drink with you some other time."

Christina's Pov

I swung my legs off the bed and stood up, tightening my bathrobe around my waist as I walked toward the door. The door was knocked harder, and I groaned loudly. "Wait a sec!" I shouted as I yanked the door open.

"Chris? I mean Beta." I bowed my head to look at my feet, wiggling my toes nervously. "What are you doing here? If I might ask."

"Christina, I know your friends with Alexandra so I thought this might interest you." He said calmly with his arms folded. "She's going into labor."

"What?! Oh my God I need to get ready." I turned around and walked toward my bedroom to put something else on. I slid my bathrobe off my shoulders and jumped when I heard a sound from behind me. "Beta I..."

"Don't." He cleared out his huskily voice. "Just call me Chris." He stalked toward me like I was his prey and caged me against the wall, both hands above my head as he dropped his head in my cleavage.

My own breathing spiked up as I thought about the position, we were in. "Chris. This is not the time or moment to do this. Please let go of me and let me get dressed." He growled in response and turned me over, so my front was against the wall.

He ran his manly hands down my figure, his lips kissing my back while he did that. "You may pretend that you don't know but we both know that's a lie." He whirled me around and pinned my hands above my head. "For how long you thought that you could resist me?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." I looked away quickly, refusing to look into his eyes.

He dropped his head into my cleavage and kissed my breasts. "Really? You don't know anything about that night?" I pressed my eyes close, begging my body to ignore his touches. Fight him Dammit!

"I don't know what night you're talking about." Keep denying it. We both know what happened that night. A voice in the back of my mind taunted me slightly and....Shut up! "You must be high or something."

"Still denying it I see. How about I refresh your memory?" He smirked down at me, and I thought he would tell me exactly what happened that night but he kissed me instead. He pulled me away from the wall and tossed me on the bed. "Remember that?"

He crawled on the bed and grabbed my legs, pulling me toward him before hovering over me. "Remember that too?" He took his shirt off and tossed it on the ground, "We're not leaving until you admit that you were the person I slept with that night."

"Why? Why do you want me to admit that? It's been months since that happened, and you didn't say anything about it either." It had to be my big mouth who said that. Ugh! I thought that I would die with this secret, but I guess my big mouth had other plans.

"You could have at least said something." He growled at me angrily and I couldn't help but gasp at this idiot.

"What did you want me to say? Oh hey, you know last night when we both were drunk out of our minds we stupidly slept together, great just wanted to let you know bye. It's not that easy you know. I never imagine that sleeping with my beta would be on my bucket list." I stated sarcastically and pushed him off me.

He grabbed my hand when I got out of the bed and leaned forward. "Why did you leave the next day?" I yanked my hand from his grip and stepped back. "Why would I stay? You're the beta for God sakes! I'm just a common pack member."

"My beta position doesn't mean anything!" He got out of the bed and grabbed my face with both hands. "You're my mate for God sake's, you could be a rogue for all I care but you're mine and that's all that matters.

"You say that now Christopher." I put my hands on top of his and removed them from my face. "Christina." He raised my chin and made me look at him in the eyes. "I always dreamed of having a mate. When I was a kid, I used to think about how perfect my mate would be and you are everything I ever wanted, a beautiful mate with a lovely smile, big brown eyes and cute dimples." I blushed hard and looked down.

"You're lying just to make me feel good." He raised my chin again and looked at me in the eyes.

"Don't underestimate yourself Christina, you're a beautiful girl." That brought tears to my eyes, he's such a good guy and I'm such an idiot. I was ready to judge him without knowing him and I really sucked at that. Like they say, don't judge a book by its cover.

"I'm an idiot. You don't deserve someone like me." He wiped away my tears and kissed my forehead, his lips lingering there for a few moments before he pulled away.

"I deserve you and so much more." He grabbed my cheeks and guided me toward his lips slowly. I closed my eyes when our lips touched and melted into his arms, my hands sneaking around his shoulders to wrap my hands around his neck.

Lucy's Pov

"What do you want Lucy?" Jaden answered his phone annoyed and I rolled my eyes at him, doesn't he know how to talk to a woman? "Don't talk to me like that and where the hell are you Jaden?!" I shrieked on the phone as I made my way inside of the office.

"None of your business. So, if you excuse me? Find another puppy to manipulate, chau." Did he just hang up on me? I shook my head incredulously. "That asshole! I can't believe he hang up on me." I growled out loud angrily as I paced around my office.

He had to be here hours ago, and he had the nerves to hang up on me! Well, if he's not going to help me, I'll do things myself. Like they say, if you want things to work as you planned, you must do it yourself.

I strolled toward my desk and picked a teddy bear I brought for Max children, hugging it to my body. "If only they were mine." I sighed sadly and pulled the bear away. "It's a shame that they won't get a chance to play with it." I laughed wickedly. "Boom!" I doubled over as I laughed, wiping my tears away. "Alexandra, you have no idea what's in for you."

"Tick tock, with only one push and Boom!" I laughed again as I put the teddy bear down. "Boom! Boom! Boom!" I laughed over and over again as I made my way out of my office. Their story will have an epic finally.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
