CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Waking up with a banging head and confusion fogging my mind, I looked around the room with difficulty to remember what had happened. The room I was in unfamiliar to me but then realization drowned on me, Max told me that he was my mate. I flung myself off the bed as I made my way out of his old room.

I felt rage swelling up inside me as I made my way towards the stairs as I walked down, "Alexandra, Alexandra!" He snatched my wrist in a tight grip, and I turned around angrily, my eyes stirred with violence as I hit him straight in the jaw. He looked up at me as his eyes shun black, his primal eyes remained fixed as he grits his teeth. "Don't provoke me, Alexandra."

"What are you waiting for! Do it. You coward!" I shouted hysterically at him as I pushed him on his chest repeatedly fuming.
