“We will know nothing for certain until Pryderin has a look at her.” Urien said sternly, unable to take his eyes off Siana. “Do not jump to conclusions, she may be something else.” He didn’t believe that, Naerin could tell by his tone. “Take her back to Gladys. Tell my compatriot what has occurred and that I have gone to Pryderin to inform him.”

“As you say,” Naerin watched as Urien rose and walked away before he looked down at the pale form of Siana where she rested against him. She really was quite pretty, fortunate for her with how much trouble she was causing to his neat quiet life. He looked around and seeing no one, ran a soft hand down her cheek and smiled.
