Caught Frozen Handed

Pheral nodded while I retrieved the other ingredients Reggie asked to use in the tub.

I didn’t want to blow smoke up his butt, and the truth always reveals itself when given time.

I ran up the stairs figuring Reggie was still waiting on me.

“I’m back. Sorry it took me so long. Pheral was down there moping.”

Reggie was lying with her head tilted back against the tub and snoring.

I laughed to myself and quietly set the items by the tub.

She must have been exhausted, and I didn’t want to bother her, so I tested the water in the tub. It was still pretty warm, so I turned around and sat with my back against the tub. I decided to sit there until she woke.

I wanted to tell her about Pheral’s concern and everything that had happened since she was kidnapped. Also, I wanted to let her know I missed her throughout the whole thing and was happy she made it back to us safely.

I wasn’t sure when it happened, but I drifted off to sleep with my head on my knees until she woke me up.
