“You’re at Zins, but before you get upset about it, I asked him to bring you here. I knew the agreement was after everything was done, but it was easier for you to go with him while we wrapped things up. So he took you the moment Nybbas left your body.”

I nodded. Reggie must not have known I’d seen Zin and her while Nybbas was in control.

Looking around, I could see the cherry wood floor reflected the deep dark olive color of the walls. His room had a very Victorian ear feel to it other than the black silk sheets I was sitting in. Even the brick fireplace was crackling softly in the background.

“I’m not mad, I just didn’t expect to come here so quick, but I am happy it’s done with. Are Michael and Lou okay? Are you okay?”

Reggie nodded, “We are fine. It actually was almost too easy once Lou and Michael subdued him. I held the circle fine. I just can’t cast for a while. I’m drained.”
