Chapter Sixty-Six

Akio forcibly pinned her hands, placed his knee between her legs, and started kissing her, muttering to her his offended pride.

The following day, Rielle went to work. She discovered that Akio didn't go to his Office yesterday, Monday. Rielle kept herself busy, hoping too that Akio would come so she could talk to him about her issue with Hyun-Ki.

Tuesday came, then Wednesday, and his staff asked for him, needing his decision, but no Akio came. Rielle called him on his cell phone, but Akio never lifted his phone. Rielle was getting worried. She looked for his address so that maybe a calling card was in any of his drawers, and she was delighted when she found one, left the Office, and went to Akio's place.

Akio's house was on a vast property, and it stood in the middle of land surrounded by expansive greens and trees, with street lamps by every shady tree. The entrance had very sophisticated and elegant wooden panels, and the heavily covered carport was wide, where he parked his five cars, and she knew Kio was home. The Security saw her and came to meet her by the gate, led her inside, and there she got a glimpse of the pathway leading to the covered area of the lanai with all the greens perfectly landscaped. Rielle then asked to see Kio and was his secretary, so the man led her to the front and walked towards the main entryway, where the door was wide. A maidservant met her, and Rielle asked if she could see Akio. The maid told her to wait where she stood to find where her master was. The house was so big with its beautiful accent wall; she knew it must be hard to find someone this size with so many doors and areas to look in as she was standing there, staring at the large paintings of landscapes and family pictures mounted on the wall. While absorbed in her observance of the places her eyes could catch, Akio appeared by the doorway, dressed in shorts, sando, and rubber shoes, looking like he had gone jogging.

Akio was surprised to meet her by the doorway, and so was Rielle. And suddenly, Akio's face became dark, and he felt like he was about to explode in anger upon seeing her. He pinned Rielle on the door and asked about her unexpected presence in his home, and Rielle got frightened at Akio's facial expression and heaved heavily.

"I-I was wondering what happened to you because you have not shown up for days, and even your staff needs you." Akio puts his angry face close to Rielle's and mutters, "Why do you need to know what happened to me, hm? What do you care?" Rielle closed her eyes with furrowed brows before Akio's darkened face, feeling fear all over her. Then Akio grabbed her hand and pulled her as they walked briskly into a room near the living area. Rielle tried to lose his grip, but Akio's strength overpowered her. As soon as Akio opened the door, he pushed Rielle, making her fall to the floor. Akio walked over her, forcibly pinned her hands, placed his knee between her legs, and started kissing her, muttering to her his offended pride.

"I respected you; I placed you on a pedestal, thinking you were still a virgin and wanted to marry you but only to make a fool out of me." Akio kept kissing her roughly while Rielle was crying, imploring, begging him to stop. But Akio's strength won over her.

Akio ravished her mouth, full of fire and passion, unthinkably overcoming him. He forcibly opened her mouth with his tongue and dived between her lips in a playful and intimate move. His hands groped into her long silken hair and pulled her mouth down against his, tasting her lips like honey. Rielle continually fought him, sobbing but couldn't scream because Akio's mouth was on hers.

Akio still pins her hands, roughly sliding his mouth down to her chin and neck, continuing his kisses to her chest while Rielle was begging him to stop, crying, wanting to scream, but her voice couldn't come out from her throat. He put his thighs between her hips and excitedly pulled down her dress, kissing her chest, sucking them, and Rielle was weak and subdued by his muscular body. He wanted her supple body against him as he squeezed his thigh between hers; his desire rushed inside him a need. Rielle had now succumbed to his strength, helpless and seemingly, her entire body paralyzed, and all she could do was cry in silence, and in her thoughts was imploring 'stop, stop, please.' Sliding his hand over her hip, he drew the lace away as he lifted her hip to let him; there was nothing between them now. The touch of his hands, so warm on her bare skin, all Rielle could feel was his touch; all she knew was the heat that moved through hers.

Her body seemed to melt against his. He could feel her, the fullness of her against him; she was voiceless, almost oblivious. He groaned as her skin heated at his touch. It had been so long; Rielle craved it to be touched. He pulled her against his hardness; he tightened his hands, sent another burst of heat straight to Rielle's core, and made it ache as a slight sound escaped her. He moaned and groaned in satisfaction; his breathing heaved deeper until his last sigh, leaving Rielle motionless and mindless.

Akio was through with Rielle, and when he looked at her face, glum and downcast, he felt gravely guilty. Realizing what he had done like he was insane at that moment of his anger felt remorse for forcing Rielle into his carnal desire for her. He felt like melting down, seeing Rielle in tears, helpless and tormented. He wrapped himself with a towel and offered Rielle her clothes. He left her for a moment while Rielle was putting her clothes on, feeling weak and whimpering. Rielle regained her strength and mustered her courage; she spoke boldly to him when Akio returned, "you got what you want, satisfied now? Accusing me of having fooled you, we are now even. You have no reason to hate me; I even doubled the price." Rielle was now firm and bold. She took her bag and left; Akio was speechless, becoming more regretful.

Rielle returned home, took a shower, and sat by her window. She couldn't take from her imagination what Akio had done to her. Never in her wildest dream had she thought of giving herself without a fight, but Akio won over her, took advantage of her weakness, and all she could do at this moment was cry in pain and anguish. She knew deep in her heart that she liked Akio, and her feeling for him was developing into love, but now, she is torn between her love for him and his impetuousness and roughness toward her. She felt violated, but then, somehow, she felt like having enjoyed it and would like to relish it in her thoughts.

The following morning, Rielle went to the Office to finish everything she had worked on the past few days and made a letter of resignation; and placing the letter on Akio's desk was the vanity bag he sent, and inside it was the box of the necklace and earrings he previously gifted her. She said in her letter that she would focus on real estate instead and that it would be better for both not to work together.

Mr. Akio Hinode came in late but earlier before lunch. He was hoping that Rielle was in their Office but only to catch his eyes on the vanity bag on his desk. He quickly walked to his table only to find Rielle's letter and gift. He sat on his chair, mindless of the letter and the present. He covered his face, seemed like he was in tears, took the vanity bag, and placed it in his drawer. He stood up facing the window in deep thought, walked out of his Office, went to his associates, and actively discussed their working plan as if nothing had happened.

Early that day, after Rielle handed her resignation, she went to the real estate office and browsed over the schedule of on-site trips. She saw a plan for the day, so she decided to follow suit even if it was late for her to catch the van. Her team was a big surprise to find her joining them.

"What happened, Rielle? Got bored in your office work that you're here?" asked Phoebe.

"I resigned as secretary, so I'll be with you seven times a week," Rielle chuckled. Her team could not believe what they heard.

"But why, how did Mr. Hinode take your resignation?" Mrs. Rosales wondered. Rielle preferred to be quiet, and she had nothing to explain.

Meanwhile, Mr. Hinode took his car to the Haven's Crest Subdivision to look for Rielle. He must talk to her, beg for her forgiveness for his beastly conduct, request for Rielle to return to her post. Rielle was talking to a client, so Akio waited in his car until Rielle was free. He walked briskly when the client moved out from Rielle's table, then grabbed Rielle's hand, to her team's surprise. Rielle and he walked away from the group and talked.

"You can't do this to me, Rielle. I regret what I did and am truly sorry, but it doesn't mean this will end us. I need you, Rielle." Implored Akio. Rielle stared at Akio and felt a pinch in her heart, but she must be firm in her decision.

"I'm sorry, Akio, but I don't want to return as your secretary. We would be just hurting ourselves, and I want to fix my life. You can never be involved with me, did you forget? I am still married to Hyun-Ki. I want to be alone, with no one misjudging me. If you care about me, let me leave at peace," earnestly requested Rielle.

Hinode sadly watched Rielle move away from him. Was it the end of them? he thought. All he could do for now was to watch Rielle by far.

Will this end Rielle and Akio’s story? Let me know how you feel.
