"Please, Mommy," Erom pleaded for the nth time.
"Jace Erom," I called with a warning tone.
He pouted then bowed his head. We are now in the room, preparing for our bed when he begged me to call his father and put him to sleep next to us.
I sighed when I saw the sadness in his eyes even though he wasn't looking at me. I moved forward then carefully touched his jaw to look at his face.
"Son," I said softly. "I understand how you feel. I know you want to be with your Daddy every time but...Erom, it’s because...your Daddy and I are not married. I don't know if you can understand this but we shouldn't sleep next to each other, "I explained slowly.
"Why? I mean...we are family," he said.
