"Erom," I softly woke up my son.
He let out a whimper and then slowly opened his little eyes. I automatically greeted him with a smile.
"Get up, son. We will get ready for school," I said while massaging his hair.
Erom is five years old so he is currently attending Kindergarten.
My son raised his hands in the air. "Hug, Mommy," he said.
I chuckled and pinched his tiny nose. "My baby is so sweet as always,” I said then I bent down to hug him.
"Good morning, my most beautiful mom," he greeted.
My heart melted at the simple appraisal of my son. I have always been receiving good criticisms from people who admire me, but it really hits different when it comes from your child.
I broke our hug and looked at him. "Hmm. What does my prince need?"
He giggled and rose up from the bed. He hugged me again and squeezed himself into my body.
"Can I come with you tomorrow, Mom? Promise, I will behave," he swore.
