Passing through

Late at night,a shadow was moving between the trees in the mountains.The shadow was moving like the wind, unrestrained.

Jian Feng had already left the Sun city, in order to reach his destination Jian Feng had to cross this mountain.

He had already been running for half an hour,He suddenly came to a stop, Jian Feng had already enter the outer perimeter of mountains, he decided to rest here for the night.

He went towards a comparatively tall tree nearby,climbed the tree and got on a sturdy branch at the peak of the tree.He sat down with his legs crossed,He placed the sword on his legs.From the moment he started running Jian Feng had been constantly activating his investigative ability on the surroundings the entire way. He was very vigilant,If he wasn't would he have become the man he was today, would he have even survived till today.

Jian Feng saw that this area was safe,He was still covered in the black aura,Using spirit abilities drained mental energy, Mental energy originated from the soul,Stronger the soul more mental energy one would have and faster the recovery rate would be.Having a stronger soul had a lot of advantages.

The black aura covering him dissipated under his will,Next he order the Blood shadow to investigate every 5minutes, If their is a threat he would be immediately informed.Jian Feng next once glanced at the moon before closing his eyes and falling asleep in a sitting position.After having lived a life full of constant battle he could even sleep while standing.

4 hours passed by Jian Feng woke up.He stood up taking in a deep breath, He began to run again but didn't covere himself in black aura,He had a long way ahead he had to use is limited energy carefully to get maximum results.He would scan his surroundings every set period of time.

He would occasionally face wild tier 1 beasts, If he could kill it quickly he would directly kill it,If he had to put some effort into it he would just escape.After all,time is of the essence.He couldn't waste his time dealing with these weak creatures there wasn't much benifit either.Thier spirit cores did not have much value in Jian Feng's eyes, their level was low,but he still kept the cores of the beasts he killed.He would of course not reject a free meal.

As he kept moving forward, he entered deeper into the mountain, he would face stronger beasts the deeper he went.He increased the frequency of his investigation.

Tier 1 beasts have the strength similar to 5star Bone realm expert.Tier 2 would be 5star meridian realm. as for tier 3 they would have the strength of 6th level of Extremity realm, tier 4 stand at top of the mortal food chain,12th level of extremity realm.

Couple of hours passed by as Jian Feng had just reached the border of the inner area and the core area,He was just about to rest when suddenly a huge purple tale with a extremely sharp edge came at him from the underground.

Jian Feng didn't panic,he slashed at the tale with his sword in a swift manner.

Clang!

Jian Feng moved a dozen steps back,while the tale only moved about 1meter backwards.The beast slowly revealed it self comming out of the ground.

It was an 2 meter long Centipede with a 3 meter long tail, It had eight spear like legs on both sides.Its metallic shell was purple in colour.

"Tier 2 beast,purple earth Centipede.This is going to be a problem" Jian Feng spoke in a low voice.

Jian Feng first activated his 3rd spirit ability which increase his strength by 30%

A blood coloured layer grew on his hands and legs covering his skin.His physical strength increased by 30%.

Jian Feng's eyes shone with battle intent as he spoke "hehe, tier 2 cores are definitely worth it"

He moved even faster than before, he was already a 6 feet away from the purple earth Centipede,The beast didn't give him chance to attack as it used it's long tail and thrusted it towards Jian Feng.

Jian Feng crouched down,barely managing to escape the attack, before pointing his sword upwards and thrusting it upward.

The sword managed to pierce 15 inches deep into the tail.Seeing this Jian Feng frowned.

He quickly moved forward as he pulled out the sword,he knew that the easiest way to kill this beast was to pierce the beast in the stomach, it was it's week spot.

Seeing him at a foots distance it tried to lie flat on the ground,while it's tail moved to attack Jian Feng.

Jian Feng who was just a foot away used his sword to block the Centipedes tail.

Now that it was lying flat on its stomach, it's only offensive ability would be it's tail which was blocked by his sword,Its mobility had been reduced.

Jian Feng blocked the tail using his sword.While he opened his mouth, suddenly a shadow appeard moving quickly out of his mouth directly piercing the Centipedes eyes before piercing it's brain.

It was dead. A beast can have more than just one weak spot right.Demon beasts lacked a humans wisdom.

Jian Feng showed a look of relief,before it turned of that into exhaustion.He was about to sit down to rest.

Xiu! Xiu!

Two arrows came flying out of nowhere aiming at him.

"My senses didn't lie" thoughts flashed in Jian Feng's mind as he moved quickly, dodging the arrows.

At the next moment six figures revealed themselves killing intent oozing from them.
