A Big Bomb Dropped On Me
Then, the other days were same. I just studied hard. My parents bought me different books to get help from. I was shocked by myself because I had become one of the studious girl. One day, our Math’s teacher took a surprise test. Well we could not fight with the teacher not to take the test. So, we had to do it. I do not know why I felt the questions easy. I did well. The next day, the teacher said who scored the highest. He said it was two people. He took Alice’s and my name. Well I was not so surprised because I had done really well. We had got full marks. Everyone applauded for us. I could see that Tanie was jealous and sad. She failed the exam. After being the Girl Captain, she had completely ruined her studies. I even thought that due to this reason the Girl Captain will change. The other days went as usual. We always studied. Sometimes we had viva, I answered well when the teacher asked me questions.
One day, it was raining heavy. One of our teacher could not come to school. We had our leisure time. Then, few girls including Samaira started asking if we would play Truth and Dare with them. I knew Alice wanted to play and if I will not play then she also will not. So, I decided to play with them. Tanie did not play with us. She was busy talking with other boys and Tyler. We started and were enjoying the game. Five minutes were left for the class to end. The bottle pointed me. They asked me what I would choose. I chose Dare. Then, I do not know what evil thing came into Samaira's mind. She said, "You will have to grab Tyler's hand and sing a song catching his hand." After hearing her, I directly said, "No." Then everyone else who were playing started forcing me to do. If I would not do the dare then I would be called a coward.
I said, “We do not have any time left.” Then Samaira said, “You can do it after the classes’ ends and before our extra class starts.” Everyone agreed to her. I then could not deny it anymore. Soon, the classes ended.
At Sarah's Home:
Sarah's mother was feeling tired after cleaning Sarah's room missing her and scolding like, "Why does this girl keep her room so untidy!" After cleaning she sees that the weather changed and also it looked as if it will rain. She thinks to herself, "Maybe I should go and give her the umbrella so that she will not get wet while returning. As there will be a short break in between her classes and the extra classes, I can give her before the extra classes commence in the short break."
In school:
The day was dark and our class also. Almost everyone happened to come to know about the dare. So almost everyone was present in class. Tanie was not present in class. Then, there were noises others were making. And Samaira pulled Tyler and other girls were present. So, I grabbed his hand and he did not say anything and I started singing. I was so much in hurry that I sang a song so fast and let the hand go. Tyler also had no expression on his face. It was as if Samaira had forced him too.
Suddenly lights went off. Samaira told to do it again because it was not like a song. I was already red and hot. But maybe no one could see as it was really dark. So, she grabbed both of our hands together and I had to sing again. I sang slowly. The song was a romantic one. I was singing, then suddenly I saw that Tanie was trying to tell something. She was out of the class and near to door. I did not understand what she was trying to tell. She was waving her hands as if she wanted to stop me. I did not understand her so I continued and when I just saw the surrounding which was crowded. Someone was imitating us. When I looked the surrounding properly I felt like a big bomb dropped on me. I made Samaira stop who was swinging Tyler and mine hand. I freed my hands and the whole class went silent.
