Chapter 20: Next Plan

"Hey Mika take this. It'll allow you to come and go if you decide to go without us for anything." Says Hiroko as she tosses a small crystal.

"Thank you, I'll keep it in mind either way." I respond as I catch the crystal.

They are awesome for making us our own place but now it's time to figure out what the next move is. I'd like to hunt one of the heroes to get as much info as I can about the King so I can make my move on him.

But I also need to find this man named Calziel that Lazarus told me to hunt. I haven't figured out how I'm going to do any of this yet but I know it won't take too long .

"Hey Mika follow me, we have a meeting room too." Says Ella as she signals to follow.

"Alright I'm following you." I Reply as I follow behind Ella.

A few moments go by as we walk down this hallway and approach a decent size room which I assumed to be the meeting room.

"Here it is, shall we discuss like you wanted to?" Asks Ella.

"Yes of course." I respond as I take a seat.

We waited a few moments as everyone got settled In and then it was time to begin.

"I want to say thank you for accompanying me this far before we started figuring this out." I Say.

"Of course, it's the best decision we all made." Responds Ella while the others agree with her.

"Now I believe for the next move we need to take down a hero and get some information on the King or we'll never be able to make a move." I Say.

"If you really want to get information on the King you'll have to capture his hero that does all the scouting named Nyoshi." Replies Hiroko with a serious tone.

"Actually I hears of Nyoshi before, he's always getting praise for discovering the enemies tactics and location before King Mari sends his troops." Says Ella.

"So he'd be the go to. Got it." I Reply while pondering my thoughts.

Even having a name doesn't mean I'll exactly know where to find him but it does give me something to work with. Though if I recall correctly there was a city back in the game known only as Miven and it was an information city.

Anyone who wanted to know something could go there and pay some of the best scout npcs or players for info on other players or bosses. It was my go to when grinding my level up as much as I could.

"I know where I'm going to go, Hiroko do you know what this Nyoshi looks like?" I Ask with a curious tone.

"Yes I do." Answers Hiroko with a confident tone.

"Okay I want you guys to remain here for now and Hiroko to come with me." I says Mika as I stand up.

"Okay we trust you but please be careful." Replies Azura.

"I'll be okay I promise." I say as I give a little smile towards Azura.

We walk out of the room and Hiroko looks at me confused.

"We're going to a city known as Miven, do you know the closest we can get to it?" I Ask.

"There's a town we can use the crystal to get to known as Zinfal." Answers Hiroko.

"Okay perfect let's get going." I Say as I hold the crystal.

(In the City of Mybourn) Sorakami's View.

This kingdom truly is one of the biggest ones and it's the one he came to for refuge in the past. I do wonder how his thought process works with everything. He's had me quite curious for awhile now on how he survived my magic back in that forest.

"What's wrong Sorakami?" Asks Shin as he walks next to him.

"Just thinking. Don't trouble yourself to worry." Answers Sorakami.

Sorakami was an interesting hero of all the kings heroes for he was the only one who dressed the exact opposite of his role and his magic. Wearing a black trench coat his black pants and wielding his sword on his back.

His black hair and red eyes stuck out more then anything for he was supposed to be a hero and looked like that of a demon. His hair was short but yet could get in his left eye a bit. He was a mysterious hero indeed.

"Don't forget we aren't here to make a scene." Says Sorakami while walking.

"I know, information only." Responds Shin.

The great King Maziel really must think he chose the right person to side with but he doesn't realize how wrong he is just yet. That guy was summoned by a witch and is bound for nothing but evil.

I still need to be on my guard with him though since the strength he showed against Shin that day said a lot. I have a lot I don't know about him yet that I must figure out.

And there's the main inn and tavern of this area, time to check it out.

Upon entering the inn and tavern they were immediately given all different looks by the people inside.

"So may I ask you some questions about a person who came through here?" Asks Sorakami as he drops a bag of coins on the counter.

"Ah Sure, ask away." Answers the barkeeper as they take the bag of coin.

"Did a man by the name of Mika stay here with some group? Two other females to be exact." Asks Sorakami while looking directly at the guy.

"Yes he did. It was also said he met another girl outside on his way to see the King. Everyone talks around here." Answers the man.

"Hmm did you hear anything about the other girl?' Questions Sorakami.

"Only that she was a hero but that was it." Responds the man.

That must have been Hiroko, the only hero to have gone missing and not come back. I knew she was going to go down that road, it was clear the day she kept asking questions about the bastard.

"Well is there anything else you can say?" Asks Sorakami as he gets ready to leave.

"Only that there was talk of him being seen in Winzel. We had business come back from there talking of Mika in New armor." Answers The man.

"You should probably stay out of his business" Says a mysterious man while drinking.

Looking over Sorakami saw a man wearing armor that resembled that of a demon with two swords on his side. Almost similar to a demon lord.

"You should keep quite, go back to your drink." Responds Sorakami.

"Just saying. Dig too far and I'll make sure you can't get out the hole." Says the mysterious man before getting up.

"Best not to cause a scene right Sorakami." Whispers Shin.

"Thank you for the information." Says Sorakami to the man before walking away with Shin.

That person gave off a real strange aura that I never experienced before so now I wonder who he really is. But there's a time and place for it, that is not today.

(Meanwhile in Zinfal) Mika's View.

Wow that was the strangest feeling yet but we did make it here in one piece.

"Now what direction do we need to go?" I ask while looking around.

"We need to go North. That's the direction to Miven." Answers Hiroko while beginning to walk.

We had never planned to stay here in the first place, it was just a place to get us a bit closer to where we were trying to go. Miven would be the best bet to find this hero Nyoshi that Hiroko had mentioned.

That also gives us another hero since we know of Sorakami, Shin, and Hiroko. Making four known heroes out of the six that are here total.

Making five my enemies since Hiroko hasn't wronged me yet so she's on my side and cleared as a friend. I need to start taking them down or else I'm sure they'll prevent me from stopping the king.

"Hey Hiroko is there anything you could tell me about the King while we're walking." I ask as I walk besides Hiroko.

"Something I remembered that could be a problem down the road. We're not the first summons, he also wants to bring in more heroes but has to wait till next year. The priests who helped bring us will be back by then." Answers Hiroko as she walks.

"So this bastard plans to corrupt more heroes into doing his work, we have limited time then." I say.

This bastard really needs more heroes, does he really wanna send innocent people to their demise. Though like most stories I read in the past about things like this always mentioned that it may not work still. He could have a threshold or limit on the heroes he could bring in but he is just able to try the summon.

At least that's what I'm going to hope for.
