Too Wild

One month... It was all that it took for Wu Xue to reach and break his limits until a Dao Rejection began to brew above his head.

His True Qi, Blood Qi, Soul Power, and Literary Power... They all grew tremendously in just one month. Except for the literary path, which by nature doesn't possess something like limits, his other three cultivation paths grew so much without advancing a single layer of their Realm that his masters began to doubt their own cultivation.

It wasn't all, he also deepened his comprehension of the Order artistic conception, and it began to show signs of advancing to the next level, True Intent.

His literary heart– no, it could be called a literary body at that time. It wasn't just a heart, lungs began to be developed along with other organs, and his literary body was quickly developing towards becoming like his physical body.

Ru Meng was deeply confused at first since a literary cultivator needed to accumulate more knowledge and experience to advance, but Wu Xue was in complete seclusion and didn't even read books.

She was reluctant to accept the fact that Wu Xue simply relied on his creepy comprehension and ability to deduce new things from his accumulated knowledge.

It was just like a world was developing by itself in Wu Xue's mind.

What they didn't know, was that one of Wu Xue's secret goals was to develop a literary world after developing a literary body. A world identical to the real world. He used his numerous comprehended artistic conceptions as the base to deduce new things and bring about new exciting ideas for himself.

Ru Meng and Xu Ling continued cruel and killed their disciple just before the Dao Rejection struck him, and revived him afterward when everything was safe.

"Too scary..." Wu Xue began to gasp for air, his body was drenched in sweat after experiencing death again.

"You are too stubborn," Ru Meng sighed, "You won't have us by your side forever, you need to accept that some limits shouldn't be broken."

"Bah!" Wu Xue sneered and simply feigned ignorance, he was still angry at his masters.

A vein popped in Ru Meng's forehead and she ruthlessly smacked his head, "Be careful of how you act around your master!"

Wu Xue clenched his teeth and said, "A real man never bows down!"

"Hehe," Ru Meng sneered and used her power to make Wu Xue forcibly bow down, "What did you just say?"

"You might have gotten my body, but you will never have my heart!" Wu Xue shouted full of bitterness.

"You!" Ru Meng was flustered, "How dare you shout such nonsense?"

"Stop," Xu Ling interrupted and sent her a voice transmission, "Can't you see he is having fun with the situation?"

"What?" Ru Meng changed her expression and cast a spell to see through Wu Xue's emotions at that instant.

She could then see he was indeed having fun by provoking her.

"Bastard!" Ru Meng couldn't control herself and began to beat him up, "How dare you make fun of me?

"Are you a masochist? Do you like to be beaten?"

"Nonsense!" Wu Xue tried to defend himself, but to no avail, "I'm a normal person!"

Ru Meng didn't stop until her anger subsided a little, she then left his cave abode.

"Why do you keep provoking others for free?" Xu Ling asked with a sigh, "You do the same to your brother and father."

"...I just feel it's fun to do it to someone I like," Wu Xue unexpectedly answered honestly, "I wonder if I'm really a sadist, but I don't want to truly hurt anyone."

Xu Ling couldn't hold back a short laugh and tapped his head lightly, "I hope you grow to be more mature, it's not good for a grown-up man to be childish."

"Bah!" Wu Xue spat on the ground like a ruffian, "What is good about acting mature? I prefer to honestly seek fun rather than being pretentious."

Xu Ling sighed and said nothing, she simply left his cave abode too.

Wu Xue took a short rest and left his cave abode to spend some fun time with his family. He played around the clan with Wu Wan'er and sometimes drank tea with his mother and Wu Yan.

After about a week, he went back to his cave abode and began another round of seclusion.

The same thing happened again and again. He spent half a year repeating the process of breaking his limits until the world was about to extinguish him. He only stopped after each breakthrough for a week to spend time with his family.

After each breakthrough, his progress turned faster rather than slower, and after half a year he reached the ninth layer of the Essence Refining Realm of his Qi Cultivation path.

His body reached the ninth layer of the Extremity Realm, its life essence was crystal clear without any impurity, he could live a thousand years just with his body's cultivation. His Blood Qi was so strong it was showing signs of transforming into Yuan Qi, a higher level of energy, and the sign of advancing to the next Realm.

His soul reached the ninth layer of the Expansion Realm, he was about to condense a soul lamp and advance to the next Realm. His soul power was so strong that he could feel all things around him with ease, even without developing his exterior soul sense, a signature of the next Realm that would enable him to 'see' and sense things around him without the need for his body's natural senses.

In total, he was killed eight times by his masters, one death short of reaching the "auspicious" number nine.

Those deaths weren't in vain, though. The terrifying experience of death taught him some things and made his will tougher. But he didn't act more mature because of it, though. He was still clinging to his childish behavior despite only being a child physically, his mind had matured since many years earlier.

He didn't seek quick results and decided to rest a whole month before advancing to the next Realms of his three cultivation paths.

Looking at the mirror, he saw that his hair had grown a bit longer but didn't cut it again. He found he kinda of liked the long messy hairstyle. His wavy brown hair was still tied into a messy man bun, and many strands of hair were still free and giving him the appearance of someone who didn't care about looks, although he did.

He left his cave abode and looked around, his senses were much sharper than before and he could sense things as insignificant as a small ant crawling on a leaf if he concentrated.

He clenched his fists and felt the urge to spend energy, but the open land of the clan wasn't suitable. There was a huge formation covering the whole small world where the clan resided, it restricted the destructive capacity and overall power of all cultivators to a safe level.

After thinking for a moment, he felt it was too boring to waste time seeking a place just to expend energy, he had the patience to wait for a natural opportunity to try his powers.

Moreover, he would simply lose face if he showed his meager strength in front of other people of the clan, it was still a secret that he possessed a mortal physique and was born without any kind of strength.

"Big brother!" Wu Wan'er spotted him leaving his cave abode and ran towards him, she grew a lot after just a half year, it was probably because of her special physique which was suitable for the body refining path.

Wu Xue patted her head and giggled, "Let's go find something to play with."

Wu Wan'er's eyes shone and she jumped into his embrace, "Let's go! I heard that Ling Ling gained new toys from her parents, let's go and play with her!"

And so, Wu Xue spent a whole month just spending time with his family.

From time to time he would create situations for both his mother and Wu Yan to meet and spend time together, he really wanted them to be friends.

He liked Wu Yan since the first time he saw her and knew she was his father's woman, he never hated her and only felt angry at his father.

Moreover, he deeply loved his little half&?-sister and wanted her to get along well with his mother.

From time to time he would go around with his father, be it fishing or learning a few small spells that could be useful to hunt ordinary animals.

He was having such a happy time that he extended the time up to three months before returning his focus to cultivation.

He completely forgot that Wu Qing was returning in just a few months. But even if he remembered, his attitude wouldn't change.

He sat on the special cushion he gained from Xu Ling when he was younger and closed his eyes with a satisfied smile.

In a low voice, he muttered, "Break."

His literary power formed the word he muttered above his head, it glowed with a golden color.

His True Qi was the first to react and his meridians began to wildly absorb the aura around him. His bottleneck instantly shattered and his Dantian began to expand several times in diameter, accommodating much more True Qi in the process.

At the same time, both his body and soul cultivation paths also broke their shackles.

A soul lamp formed in the center of his consciousness sea and his true soul began to reside inside it. Now even if his body was extinguished, as long as his soul was alive he wouldn't be truly dead. His soul lamp also began to speed up the process of refining more soul power and it skyrocketed in both quantity and quality. His soul lamp also began to breed his exterior soul sense.

His body's skin began to crack and pieces of dead matter began to fall on the ground, black gases began to be excreted from all his pores. His Blood Qi began to turn into Yuan Qi, it naturally removed impurities from his body and life essence in the process and strengthened them to a new level. The Yuan Qi was about four times stronger than the previous Blood Qi.

Breaking through to a new great Realm wasn't simple, he took a full day to finish the process of advancing his three paths.

When he opened his eyes, black and white sparkles flashed in his pupils for a brief moment.

"...I'm at my limit," he muttered after sensing his literary power struggling to keep his energies blended harmoniously. His strength skyrocketed and his literary path was showing signs of not being able to support it.

He took a deep breath and couldn't help but smile bitterly. No matter how incredible his comprehension was, he had a limit on how much he could advance his literary path without learning new things outside his own inner world.

The reason he was able to progress his literary body so fast until that moment was his previous accumulation, but it was now exhausted. No matter how much he tried to deduce new ideas, his mind couldn't accept them and felt they were empty of life.

He clenched his fists and savored his new state of being. His Qi Cultivation path advanced to the first layer of the Qi Vortex Realm. That Realm was divided into nine layers like the anterior Realm, and it was about expanding his Dantian as much as possible until his True Qi was abundant enough to form a vortex that refined Aura automatically without even his active will. The vortex would also refine his own True Qi to new boundaries.

His Body Refining path advanced to the Treasured Realm, it was divided into five layers instead of nine. Each layer referred to one of the human's body five secret life treasures: Pure marrow, pure blood, pure bones, pure organs, and pure muscles and tendons.

Each time a secret treasure was completely activated, his body would get a great boost in strength and vitality.

His Soul Refining path advanced to the True Mind Realm, it was divided into five layers as well. Each layer referred to one of the soul's five secret talents: Soul mind, soul eyes, soul ears, soul mouth, and soul touch.

Each time one secret talent was unlocked, his soul would then transform and get much stronger, his exterior soul sense would expand numerous times as well and he would be able to sense things farther away and in greater detail.

When all talents were unlocked, his soul would then be able to leave his body and receive a baptism from the yang and yin natural energies of the world, he would then advance to the next Realm.
