Concept of Time

" Shh.... be quiet everyone. Today we will learning about 'Time' and how it is measured."

Today's subject is 'Geography' but professor Anand is talking about something entirely different. Ugh... I don't know anymore, let's just get on with it. A notebook and a pen to take notes and a chewing gum just in case I feel sleepy.

" As you all know today is 28th January 431917 according to Cosmic Calender. 28 is the date, January is a month and 431917 is a year from the birth of a peaceful era. There are 12 months in a year, approximately 30 days every month.

Now it's 8:10 AM, and the same time will be all across the cosmos at the same time. If it's 10:00 PM on planet seed now, then it will be 10:00 PM on anywhere in the Cosmos.

" It is because of the mysterious stone placed in the Arcana World. Some say it is a Time stone with a unique ability, some say it is a gift bestowed upon us by the gods. But in truth, no one is able to uncover the secrets of the stone. Though there is a short story passed down from the old generation about 'God of Time'. From the ancient times, time is the most valuable thing. Once it is passed, it can't be recessed. In the 1st Era which we call the 'Era of the Gods', mortals suffered through hardships of femine, natural disasters, time storms, and the loss of manpower. Some planets were rich in food, while others scare, some planets suffered through the repeating cycle of natural disasters, some were eradicated completely due to time storms, while some stopped progressing because of lack of manpower. Because of the reasons as I described and other countless reasons, the 'God of Time' decided to stabilize the flow of time across the Cosmos. He used his treasured stone as the base and cast a powerful magic to stabilize the time across the Cosmos. 'Only the inheritor of the God of Time will be able to control this stone' those were the words said by the 'God of Time' at the end."

Everyones attention draws toward the teacher like a curious child with a sparkling eyes. It also got me interested, but now I am quite confused. This calendar system is similar to the English calendar system back on Earth.

The lecture continued on as teacher Anand explained the details and the background of the stone till 12.

" Uaa.. finally."

Covering my wide open mouth with one hand, I yawned.

" Someone sure is sleepy."

" What can I do, I heard some weird noises coming from my dear neighbours room."

" H...Hey I was e..exercising."

Woah.. look at that face. You won't get ahead of me Evan.

" Oww.. the new cadet is sleepy. What should we do?"

I stored my notebook in my inventory.( Solar System) and made a run for it.

" Haa... haa... "

At first I got all embarrassed remembering that drunk incident. but now... she just creeps me out.

I ran straight to the cafeteria and ate my lunch as fast as I could. After that, I went straight to the training grounds.

There's no way I wanna talk to them, until they stop teasing me.

Our Weapon Training class continued as usual and usual mean me getting beaten up by that bastard teacher. I waste 3 hours of my daily time in the hospital because of him.

My daily schedule is like this

07:00 am to 7:30 am, For breakfast.

07:30 am to 08:00 am, Morning exercise.

08:00 am to 12:00 pm, Anand sir class.

12:00 pm to 02:00 pm, Lunch and break.

02:00 pm to 04:00 pm, Weapon training.

04:00 pm to 07:00 pm, Hospital.

07:00 pm to 09:00 pm, Fist Fighting arena.

09:00 pm to 09:30 pm, Dinner.

09:30 pm to 11:00 pm, practice.

After that, sleep.

" Damn.... my schedule is full. At least, they don't give homework. If things are like this, I won't be able to improve."

Ha.. let's get going, I will think of something later.

It's good that the stats are restricted in Fist Fighting arena, or I will be damned spending another hour or two at the hospital. They don't even use potions and talk about its effectiveness all the time.
