That night, I let Connor hug me while he slept, even though I didn't get any sleep. I tried and tried but my mind was fucking with me. Throwing questions at me so fast, I didn't have time to even register them before they were swapped out. The next thing I knew, Connor was awake, and the sun was up outside the windows. He cupped the side of my face. "Don't tell me you didn't get any sleep." He said softly, and I could hear the concern in his voice. "Fine. I won't." I told him, and he took his hand from my face, then left. "Um...ok?" I muttered, sitting up, and yawning. A minute later, he came back with a cup full of some warm liquid. "Drink this. It won't put you to sleep, if thats what your wondering, but it will wake you up. Oh, yeah, and it wears off after class." I took the cup from his hands, and dra k it down in small sips here and there, before finally finishing it and handing it over to him. He disappeared again, and I folded my blanket, placed my pillow over it, and threw my backpack over my shoulder. "You aren't going to stay for a few more minutes?" He asked, leaning in the doorway. I focused on his question, not the way his muscles buldged underneath his clothing. "I just...I need time to process last night. Plus, Elizabeth will notice if I don't get back before she wakes up." "Fair enough. See you tomorrow?" I nodded. "Well, the car is outside, waiting. I'll be behind you at somepoint." I left, and hopped into the car, arriving at the university a minute later. "Say hi to Hell." I joked to myself, getting out the car, and waving a goodbye before heading to the dorms.
