"I thought we agreed on meeting at the station." Dyson sighed as soon as he set his gaze on Elizabeth.
"Yeah, I changed my mind." She sat on the chair opposite him and scanned the restaurant out of habit.
"Then, what do you want to see me for?" He raised his brow and leaned on his seat.
Elizabeth smirked, her pretty fingernails tapped on the table rhythmically, "Let's order coffee first."
"This is so unlike you, I thought you hated me." He frowned and stared warily at her.
"I don't. Your dislike for me made you think I hated you." She pursed her lips and calmly skimmed through the menu.
"Just spit it out, Inspector Elizabeth. The investigation is still ongoing, I need to be at the station." Dyson said and Elizabeth calmly dropped the act, her eyes turned as cold as it usually was when around Dyson and the air of suspense clouded around them, "You know what happened to that lady, you know Miss Lillian Rowan is innocent."
