Chapter 58: On The Way To The Grizzly Tribe

Meanwhile, in the small forest, there was an ongoing construction. The rhinoceros were being helped by the ogres and goblins in building their homes.

Hnung was there directing the ogres on what to build and Lerak and Krag helped as well. Meanwhile, the women were all looking at the young and vigorous ogres.

The children were also in awe watching the construction.

Meanwhile, Vine was being pampered by Vite.

"Vine you look so cute if we style your hair.."

Vite was tying Vine's hair using a hairpin.

"Vine likes master pampering Vine! Vine thanks, master!"

After Vite tied Vine's hair, Vine stood up and got ready for his everyday routine.

Vine was off scouting the forest for any enemies.

Meanwhile, Callidus and the other grizzly Beastman had begun their journey to the Grizzly Village. They stopped in front of a rock mountain.

Marelda smiled at Callidus, and the other grizzly Beastmen smiled as well.

"We're going to climb the rock mountain Callidus!"

Seeing the grizzly tribe getting ready, Callidus began to sweat buckets.

"Hurry up everyone and keep up!"

"Yes, chief!"

The two grizzlies smiled at Callidus and began to climb up, Aaron also began to climb up.

"Oh hurry Mr. Callidus! Don't want to make the chief wait hehe"

"Of course..."

Callidus crouched down, he opened his small basket.

"As they said, work smarter"

Callidus began to take out the weapon he had been trying his best to make for a whole month. It was a bow and an arrow!

Callidus narrowed his eyes and pulled the string, using his strength, Callidus let go of the string. The arrow immediately shot into the sky.

"Hey, he's been down there for a while now..."

"Should we help him?"

Marelda glanced at Callidus who shot something, she was worried and was about to jump down to help Callidus.

Suddenly a strange object flew beside Marelda at great speed.

"What's that?"

"Chief dodge! It may hit you!"

Marelda didn't move, suddenly the tip of the strange weapon moved at a fast rate and drilled itself into the tough rock.

"Hmm?"

Marelda's interest was piqued, and she glanced at Callidus.

Meanwhile, Callidus sighed, he could see that the arrow had embedded in the rock.

"Alright!"

Callidus took two sharp stones, suddenly he put the two stones on his skin shoes. The sharp stones had been glued to the shoes, Suddenly Callidus began to form hand incantations.

Marelda glanced at the weapon beside her, Suddenly the weapon had started to form what seemed to be a rope made of magi.

Callidus touched the rope made from magi.

"Alright!"

Callidus began to use his shoes, Callidus would embed the sharp stones on the rock to help him move.

"Eh?"

The two grizzlies glanced at Callidus who was gaining on them.

As Callidus passed the two bewildered grizzlies, Callidus was snickering.

Meanwhile, Aaron was still busy with his thoughts and continued climbing. Marelda was bewildered seeing Callidus's tools.

'He is as smart as I thought..'

Callidus looked at the two grizzlies with a smile.

"Hey, you should hurry up...You are being way too slow.."

Callidus passed the two with a winning grin.

"You have created such a fine tool Callidus, it was a good choice when I chose you.."

"Ehem.."

Callidus blushed red due to Marelda's words.

"Anyways let's hurry up."

"Yes.."

Marelda and Callidus had reached the top, Callidus was smiling devilishly looking at the two grizzlies who reached the top a little later.

"My you two are so slow, it was like I was watching a snail move. Hah, you're wasting our time.."

"Why you..."

The wolf tribe was still undergoing construction, the construction wasn't finished. They still had to build more homes, plant new fields, and create new places to use as their stock rooms.

Dux was very busy, he and Hugo were the two chiefs in their new town. They had to assign tasks to their tribe. They gave each of their own people jobs so that the progress of their construction would increase.

Meanwhile, Magna was a father of two children. His wife had recently given birth.

Celer was also the same, she gave birth a week ago and was currently gathering her strength back.

She had given birth to one child, but it was hard for her to give birth because her child was over 6.6 lb. This caused a stir among the women in the village.

"Magna they're newborns it's kind of dangerous for you to bring them while working.....is your mate alright with this?"

Magna smiled and turned around continuing his work.

The two children were both sleeping while their father was shouting. Strangely the two boys found peace while sleeping in their father's embrace although he was extremely nosy.

The two guards noticed numerous figures. They pointed their spears, and a young man smiled at them.

"Hello there! My name is Sterk, I am the chief of the gorilla tribe! I came here to pay my thanks to your chief!"

The two snakes narrowed their eyes, they were wary.

"Oh please, I have also brought gifts!"

Three gorillas were pushing three wagons, the wagons were filled with numerous huge bulls and other small animals.

"My tribe is here to give thanks for your help! As such we brought some gifts. From what we have known, your tribe loves to eat animals. As such we have brought this animal from our farm!"

The two snakes looked at one another, One of the snakes left and hurried to their chief's hut.

"Chief! The gorillas chief has come bearing gifts, shall we let them in?"

"Hmm? Sure, let them in.."

The snake hurried to his companion, the two made their way and let the gorilla tribe inside.

"Thank you very much!"

The gorilla chief and three other gorillas went inside. As soon as they went inside, they noticed some of the snakes were overly cautious of them.

Meanwhile, the snake chief has come out of his hut.

"It is an honor to see the new gorilla chief.."

"Please, it is an honor to meet the snake chief as well. We have come bearing gifts, and we thank you for helping our tribe. The poison you have given us was a great help in curing my tribe's illness.."

Marelda and the others were camping, they were eating meat that they had caught.

"We can finally come home! Finally!"

"I miss everyone back home! Hah!"

Aaron was silently eating his meal.

"Aaron, is everything alright?"

Aaron shakes his head and continues eating.

'Home. I don't want to...I don't want to see father...'

"How many days will we travel for Marelda?"

"If we move fast it will only take us half a day. But considering your movements Callidus, it will take us another day.."

After they finished eating, Callidus along with the two grizzlies were fast asleep.

Meanwhile, Aaron and Marelda were sitting beside the cliff.

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?"

"What's wrong Aaron? I noticed that ever since we left the wolf village you became lost in your thoughts.."

"I...I don't want to go back home..."

"Is it because of father?"

"Yes..."

Marelda ruffled Aaron's hair.

Aaron rested his head on his sister's lap.

"Everyone in the tribe hates me, especially father. He doesn't love me.."

"Maybe you're right, but let's see, if we come back home, Father might have something in stall for you.."

"Is it a punishment because I left the tribe?..."

"I don't know, maybe it will be a gift, or something else.."

"Your scaring me big sis..."
