The oppressive darkness was akin to a palpable force. It invaded their system, crept into their eyes, noses and mouths, choking their very breaths. Desperation filled the space as the Chrono beasts and players alike found themselves ensnared in the inky abyss.
Within the void, time held no meaning and thus the beasts' power was rendered utterly invalid.
