Knowing fear

My face was crumpled, tears ran the length of my face, I sobbed softly but I dared not stop in my movement.
Let me go back a bit.
It is the weekend, just like on earth the days are seven. The week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday.
This time nothing is split, instead, all were in agreement.
After a century, this was the conclusion of an entire century... Simply wow but this can be understood and well, I'll explain it soon.
So even though they agreed that the days of the week are seven and named like the English side of earth to reference for this world as well, other things were implemented in other places.
Of course, those with various religions still worshipped on their specific day but around the world among humans, this was the agreed week.
A day is longer, perhaps it's because of the size of the world.
Thinking about it. The earth seemed pitifully tiny in comparison.
