CHAPTER 29: Box of holes

EL'S P.O.V

"You two timing piece.....of..... what is going on here, El?" Lyn asked as El jerked her clothes out of Kedians' hands.

"I'm so sorry sir! she-" Callub ducked out as a lamp flew across the room and shattered against the door. Lyn screamed and covered her head as she dropped to the floor. El jumped up and dragged Lyn into the bathroom, slamming the door closed as Kendrelous came in.

"What the fuck?" He yelled at Kedian.

"Sorry Lyn. Um I was trying to get him to stop watching me on the cameras and get his work done and promised him sex." She smiled sheepishly at her friend. A sudden wave of nausea over took her and she rushed for the toilet.

"Well you didn't need to broadcast to the entire world that your getting laid. Seriously El, everyone thought he was cheating on you." Lyn rolled her eyes as El bent over the toilet and vomited. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"

"Morning sickness. That's all." She took a quick shower she dressed and they left the bathroom. Lyn crossed to Kendrelous and bent over his shoulder.

"I want attention." She pouted when he nudged her back and stood up.

"Not now baby girl. I have to help with all this paperwork." He didn't even look at Lyn as he took three stacks of paperwork from Kedian's desk and moved it to his own. Lyn then swiped the pen from his desk and half ran into the bathroom. El had heard Lyn say that she was interested in bdsm but didn't understand how it worked. It looked like she was about to find out as she laid down on the couch in the corner.

"I blame you." She said as Kedian sat on the floor next to her and stroked her hair.

"For?" He asked amused by her declaration.

"I get morning sickness now because you couldn't be bothered to put on a condom!" Kendrelous spit water all over his desk as he sputtered with laughter and Kedian chuckled as he shook his head.

"I don't recall you screaming for me to do so."

"No she has a point, sir." Fenal said as she brought more paper work in and set it on his desk. "It's the guys responsibility to always have some sort of protection on him."

"And that is why I always do." Kendrelous smiled triumphantly.

"I do to but it was sort of heat of the moment and not thinking clearly kind of thing." Kedian rolled his eyes at Fenal as she walked out.

"It's simple, Kedian." Kendrelous pulled a condom out of his pocket and showed it to them. "You just rip it open and," He picked up Kedian's hot dog and slipped the slimey contraceptive over it. "just like that. Ten seconds. And if done correctly it can be quite the aphrodisiac."

"Isn't that from the box I gave you last month?"

"A condom's still a condom."

"Except when my marine buddies give them to me."

"What do you mean?" Kendrelous was suddenly very nervous.

"Han gave me that box and, in our unit at least, it is a long standing tradition to give a box of hole riden condoms to a groom on his wedding day. I'm pretty sure they have holes in them Kendrelous." It was El's turn to spew water all over the place just as Lyn came out of the bathroom pouting.

"baby I-"

"We're going to the O.B.'s office today!" Kedian half shouted as he lept up, snatched his keys, and bolted out the door with Lyn thrown over his shoulder.

"that was good." El snickered.

"I wish I was joking." Kedian said as he pulled the condom off the hot dog and put it over Kendrelous' still open water bottle. He then flipped the bottle upside down and poured the water into the condom, only to have it drain through five different holes in the middle of the tip. El laughed harder.

"What is the point of that? Baby trapping people who are already married?"

"Actually, you'd be surprised how many people cheat on their spouse in the military. Having a baby to take care of can prevent that. It's sort of an 'I got your back' thing that became a long standing joke." A crooked smile tugged at the corner of his mouth as he gave her a chagrined stare. "I'm embarrassed to admit that I actually did use one of those that night." He seemed very interested in the desk now. "Just a box of holes." El could no longer hold her laugh in.
