The Nest

Radley started to gut the bat, he forgot to bring a containment method for the ore he needed to mine not to mention he had been slacking off with Blobby's forms. He had already space for two more forms. The bat would give him wings and that seriously annoying sonic burst it had. He led Blobby towards the bat corpse, "Chow time, big guy."

Blobby took a singular bite. After a while he sprouted wings, two horns formed on his head growing forwards and he got the massive ears of the bat. Radley patted him, "Give the flying a whirl."

The girls stood there astonished of what they just saw. Blobby tried to take flight but it turned out to be more difficult than expected. He truthfully needed the wyvern wings or dragon wings would be even better. Well, at least it could still be used for gliding. Traversing large gaps would be a cinch from now on.

As they walked towards their target destination something caught Radley's eyes through the thick foliage. It was a snake of some sort but he could only make out the aura, all he could tell it was massive. He showed the girls to hide in the bushes. This was exactly the reason he needed high levels with them. He might be able to take on beings higher than his own level but his gut was telling him that this was something akin to an alpha predator.

His curiosity got the better of him. It was luckily moving rather slowly through the undergrowth. Radley was able to get a proper scan of it. Basilisk, lv 18, Cautious nature, Aura: Dark Purple.

Radley tapped his lips. Camouflage types were actually quite easy to defeat because they rely on hiding rather than fighting and his ability snuffs them out like nobody's business, but he was dealing with a level eighteen. That was an animal of a completely different nature. This was an apex predator of the caves.

Radley went back to the girls as they are quietly as possible trying to circumvent the beast. It turned out to be surprisingly easy due to the fact that the creature seemed to be sleeping.

After a while the reached a clearing and finally found the tunnel. Radley checked around if he could find any auras but it seemed they were in the clear. He went down the tunnel as Elita spoke up, "Hey Radley that doesn't look safe, perhaps we shouldn't?"

"Don't worry you guys can stay up here. Just holler if there is any trouble."

While the skin he harvested from the bat was still rather wet and cross it was only meant to serve as containment for this Comixicium. There was a bit of an odor the deeper he went. The smell of fecal matter. It wasn't particularly pleasant.

He found the spot he was meant to mine. It was an off grey color with a strand of brown mixed in between. He starts hitting away. Now that he is level five it turned out to be rather easy to mine the said material. He spread out the skin and collected as much as he could from the ore.

Elita called down into the hole, "Uuhm, Radley. We need you topside, like now."

Radley immediately jumped into action as he crawled out of the hole. There were a bunch of level three mole-like creatures with no fur. They were as large as Great Danes. So he was at their nest, luckily it was only a bunch of level threes, but the girls are all level two, so it would be one hell of an uphill battle just to take down one, "Just hold your ground. I and Blobby will try to mow down as many of them as possible. It might be possible we stumbled upon their nest. So be prepared for anything."

Radley charged forwards with the shield in hand. Three moles creatures pounced towards him together. Blobby shot out his spines hurting them pretty badly. Rita was fire support as the other two kept their distance. The problem Radley had was the fact that the girls would tire out before the end. Radley's attacks already cleaned the clock on two of them. 2400 Invo points. O diff points. He kept mowing through them. They were easy enough to kill. Some broke off and attacked the girls, but even they were holding their own. In the end, seventeen of these beasts were killed. Between Radley and Blobby fifteen were killed amounting to the amount of 18 375 amount of info points. The amount of experience he gained really wasn't worth it. The girls were tired but even they were able to defeat some of the creatures. Kai was pissed, "Why didn't we flee from that situation!?"

"You really think you were going to outrun them. We invaded their territory, and besides you guys could have just stayed home. I did warn you about what was going to happen if you tagged along. The best way to become stronger is to fight above your league."

He went back into the tunnel and came out with a rather large bag of Comixicium ore using the bat's skin. Radley looked around as he spotted a rather large mole creature coming towards them. Kai immediately recognized it, "That is a matriarch! We should get out of here and fast."

Radley smiled, "Why? This is exactly what I want to fight."

Terror Mole, Lv.7, Protective nature, Aura: Red.

A strength type. He basically excels in both. He used his speed ability and combined it with his power slam. The creature tired dodging but Radley was too quick. Blobby followed up with a full-body spikes slam and then he bit him to poison it. Both Radley and Blobby jumped backward and used the sonic scream ability as Radley followed up with a few more power slam. The creature emitted an actual red aura as he charged forward to try and finish Radley. Radley used a fortress wall to completely negate the attack and followed up with another series of power slam. The creature tried stumbling away when Radley finished it off to an attack on its head. 115 000 Invo points gained, 7 Diff points gained.

Radley smiled as he turned around. There was something behind Rita when a hole suddenly exploded out from where her heart should have been.
