"Are you some sort of vampire? Are you from Veilstead? I've heard they exist on that planet," Zhen commented, his eyes narrowing as he studied Xin's features. "Your teeth do resemble fangs, and you have an unusually pale complexion," he added, as he studied Xin's features.

Inwardly, Xin remained unfazed, "I've been living here for ages, long before you were even born," Xin thought to himself, he mused silently as his attention focused elsewhere.

Huomei, who had been observing the exchange, intejected, "It doesn't make sense, though. Hunters shouldn't be able to raid towers apart from the ones on their home planet."

"I completely forgot about that part," Zhen Yu admitted with a grin.

"This is a bit unfair, you know. It's like having our social media profiles wide open while you're the private account with all the locked posts" Zhen Yu quipped. He continued his relentless chatter, closing in on Xin and waving his hands before him as if trying to snap him out of his thoughts. "Hey, what does your race have to say about this? Are you truly a vampire? And why is the system acting up?"

With a serious expression, Xin raised his arm in a relaxed manner, a speck of black energy with subtle red hues appearing from his palm. Zhen, standing in close proximity to Xin, instinctively stepped aside as a small orb of mysterious energy floated in the air, avoiding any contact with it.

"Something amiss... It bears the resemblance to the sensation when a creature leaves behind a trace of chaos core. It appears to draw upon my energy," Xin thought to himself.

"Moreover..." Xin began, his voice laced with a sense of curiosity and caution.

"What's happening?" Zhen asked, his whimsical demeanor diminished as he noticed Xin's serious expression.

"I've never seen that kind of energy before," Huomei remarked, her gaze locked on the floating orb with obsidian and red hues. "What are you really, Xin?" she pondered silently.

The floating orb halted its flight and descended to the rocky ground, seamlessly passing through the earth as if it had been swallowed by the terrain. Xin came to a stop, his senses heightened. He confirmed his suspicions, "I always had a hunch that there's something wrong below, like it felt hollow," Xin continued, reflecting on the feeling that reminded him of terrain-based strategies in battles, particularly hollow grounds that could collapse under the weight of troops or vehicles.

However, this time, the sense of hollowness seemed to stretch for miles below, and Xin's heightened senses, a benefit of being an awakener, allowed him to perceive it more acutely.

As the orb continued its rapid descent through the ground, it eventually reached a hollow chamber below the tower's surface. This underground room appeared to be carved out of solid earth, with natural walls surrounding it. At the center of this chamber stood an imposing gate made of otherworldly metal, its surface adorned with gemstones that emitted a mesmerizing, nebulous glow. These gems formed an intricate swirling pattern, resembling a complex locking mechanism.

The perspective shifted, following the orb as it passed through the metal gate. Beyond the gate, a sealed chamber awaited, and the orb hovered above an intriguing object – a book with an obsidian-black cover that seemed almost charred.

As if drawn by a magnetic force, the orb descended rapidly, aligning itself with the mysterious book. The moment the orb touched the book's surface, a deep rumbling echoed through the chamber. The walls and ground quivered, releasing showers of earth particles. Xin, who had been standing near the orb's descent, quickly stepped back to a safer distance.

Following this seismic event, the ground beneath where the orb had descended started to disintegrate in a circular pattern. An eerie light, reminiscent of Xin's chaotic energy, emanated from the exposed cavity. In an instant, the ground crumbled into smithereens, leaving behind a gaping hole, its depths shrouded in darkness.
