Weakest Prince

A person from modern Earth has been transmigrated into a world where magic, powerful knights, and all kinds of other things exist, taking on the role of a prince. At first, he is glad to be in the body of a prince, but he quickly realizes that he is actually the weakest and most condemned among all the princes. As he worries about this, his system arrives. The first novel I published. (The story starts off slow-paced, but I'll try my best to pick up the pace as it goes on.") Note: His system is a 'Simp' system, so he had to act simp to gain a simp points to increase his stats. Cover photo isn't mine

Mathias didn't seem to care as he continued to flirt with the elf. "What's your occupation, beauty?"

The elf seemed to not have heard anything and continued eating her meal.

"Are you a pure elf or a half human and half elf, pretty?" Mathias asked with anticipation, but the elf continued to ignore him.

"Who's your human parent, is it your dad or mom?" Mathias asked, not caring about the elf's indifference.

"Where do your people live? I heard your race has a kingdom of their own?" Mathias asked casually.

The elf stopped eating and her indifferent expression became solemn. She flicked her blonde hair to the side and looked at Mathias with cold ruby eyes.

"You're so annoying, you know that?" She said coldly. Before Mathias could respond, she added, "Because of you, I've lost my appetite for food."

She stood up and walked out of the pub. Mathias wondered if he had said something wrong, but he couldn't think of anything too overboard.

...

The blonde elf walked out of the pub with a sad expression.

She remembered her home, her family and friends, and her motherland.

The elf tribes had slowly begun to conflict, and Luna's tribe had been surrounded.

She had to escape to the human kingdom to survive and had been wandering around the human kingdoms, relying on being an adventurer to survive.

She had become separated from her companions.

...

Mathias was now looking for inns to sleep in. He was lucky to have brought some of Prince Mathias' savings, which amounted to 200 silver or 2 gold coins.

However, that amount of money wasn't enough, so he would have to find a job later. He found an inn called Lucy's Inn and entered. A mature, slim, middle-aged woman greeted him.

"Hello, young sir."

"Hi, do you have a room for me to stay in?" Mathias asked.

"One room for one night is 50 copper, sir," the woman replied politely.

"Alright," Mathias nodded and brought out two silver coins. "I want to rent a room for four nights."

"Alright, sir. However, during the day, your assigned room may be occupied. Is that alright?" the woman asked politely.

"It's alright," Mathias nodded.

"Very well, sir. Here is your room key. The room is on the second floor, last door on the right. Dinner will be served in the dining room at 6pm. If you need anything, just let me know." The woman said as she handed Mathias the key.

Mathias thanked the woman and made his way to his room.

As he settled in, he couldn't help but wonder what had upset the elf at the pub.

He knew he had asked her some personal questions, but he didn't think they were inappropriate.

...

In the morning, Mathias walked out of the inn and headed towards the adventurer's guild. As he approached, he could see the building in the distance and walked inside.

"How may I assist you, sir?" the receptionist asked Mathias.

"I'd like to apply to become an adventurer," Mathias replied.

The female receptionist nodded and pulled out a card. "Just place a drop of your blood on the card, and it will reveal your realm and your adventurer class will depend on your realm, and we also needed your name. It will cost 50 silver, sir."

Mathias nodded and asked, "Can I borrow a knife?"

"Of course, sir," the receptionist replied, handing Mathias a dagger.

Mathias pricked his finger with the dagger, but no blood came out. "Miss, the dagger isn't sharp enough," he said awkwardly.

"That's impossible, sir. This dagger is strong enough to cut through the skin of an alligator," the receptionist insisted, shaking her head.

"But it's not cutting me," Mathias said, confused.

"Let me see, sir," the receptionist said, taking the dagger and examining it. "No, it's sharp. Maybe you just didn't cut deep enough."

"Really?" Mathias said, taking the dagger and cutting his finger with more force. But his skin just sank under the blade, and the dagger couldn't cut through.

"Can you try cutting my finger a bit?" Mathias asked the receptionist.

"Afraid to cut yourself? Haha..." the receptionist chuckled, then took the dagger. "Put your hand here," she said, indicating the table.

Mathias obeyed, and the receptionist slowly tried to cut a bit of his finger. But she was surprised to find that she couldn't even make a dent in his skin.

"What's going on?" she asked, confused. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't cut Mathias' finger.

"Sir, it seems your body has a very high defense... your skin is harder than that of an alligator," she said, amazed.

"What do I do now?" Mathias asked, worried.

He couldn't become an adventurer if he couldn't even place a drop of blood on the card.

"Don't worry, sir. I have a better dagger," the receptionist assured him with a smile.

She handed him a black dagger, and Mathias was surprised to find that it was able to cut his skin.

He placed a drop of blood on the card and became an adventurer.
