Iris pov

It was my favorite time of morning, the screaming banshees are out. I stood on the wall by Zero. "Should we help her?" I asked looking down at Yuki as she struggles. "You do what you want. I'm going to stay up here away from them." I groaned looking over seeing some dumbass trying to climb the wall. "Hey no climbing the wall." I yelled spooking the girls into losing their balance. I jump to brake their fall but Zero beat me to it. "Nice catch Lazy bones." I said placing my hand on his arm. he laughed "you wish I'd take you to the bone zone." I laughed punching his arm. "your such a dork" I said walking away unaware of a sad Akatsuki watching me.

Akatsuki pov

Watching her run around in the sun playing when we were kids. I never liked how close she was to Zero. I know it's a brother sister relationship between them. I also know it's stupid to be jealous,but it doesn't stop me from being so. she never looks at me or talks to me the way she does him. In a way can't blame her for that. Her family was killed by one of my kinde. She is forced to wed with me two weeks she will be my wife. The senate and Association want her to be pregnant by the end of the year. We had sex a few times so we can be used to each other. She always looked to the side never at me. "You know she wouldn't betray you right?" Takuma said knowing what I was thinking. "I must confess she has Confided in me a few times. " he said making me glare at him. "She sees you as her partner Akatsuki. She knows she can't blame you for the other vampire's actions. Iris is also close to Zero because they are former human. They share a common bond that's all." he said reassuring me. Little did I know at the time, Takuma's the one I need to worry about.
