Trio finals

It was the day of the trio finals. And in the morning the three boys were in one hotel room together discussing their tactics for the fight.

"Okay, you know what to do right?" Wang Wei asked Long Yue and Lee Zheng.

"Reveal our soul jewels during the trio finals right?" Lee Zheng said.

"Yes, that way we will have an easy victory and we can speed up with the solo competition. And since only me and Long Yue are in the solo competition and are participating today we can request that they move the semi-finals to today." Wang Wei said.

A few hours later it was already noon.

"Ladies and gentlemen. This is glory academy vs. victory academy III. This is the first time everyone from both academies will be participating. Long Sha probably wants to have his revenge the most. Let's see how this will play out." The commentator said.

"Hmpf, I can't believe I have to fight this trash again." Long Sha said.

"Who are you calling trash? Don't forget who got beat up a few days ago." Wang Wei said while he glared at Long Sha.

"That was just a fluke. I possess the shadow dragon soul form. I can't lose to the likes of you and since you also have only one soul jewel I am ready for you now."

"Sure, whatever you say."

As the start of the fight was announced the trio from glory academy immediately sprung into acting as Zhang Xinyu used her first soul technique strengthening melody Long Sha used his individual technique and Wenxuan Xie ascended to the air using her fair swan wings.

The next moment Long Yue was hit by Long Sha. Long Sha was furious.

"Are you ready boys?" Wang Wei said as he noticed that his teammates were getting angrier by the second.

"Of course!" Long Yue and Lee Zheng said in unison.

In the next moment, it was dead silent. Even a pin drop could be heard. This silence was caused by the appearance of the soul jewel the boys possessed. Wang Wei with two light yellow soul jewels, one slightly lighter than the other. And Long Yue with a solid yellow soul jewel and a light yellow soul jewel. And if that wasn't enough Lee Zheng also had a light orange soul jewel, his was even lighter than Long Sha' soul jewel. This was a display of overbearing power.

"T-t-t two chi fighter and a genius chi apprentice." The commentator said while he couldn't hide his excitement any longer.

In a private room, the senior that Wang Wei encountered before sat with a woman beside him.

"Didn't I tell you that it was the right choice to invite them to our jade academy?" The senior said.

"Yeah, you were right this time." The woman beside him said. "Especially this Wang Wei kid. He has a trash soul form but is already a chi fighter with TWO! Light yellow soul jewels. Your intuïtion was correct this time around."

"Okay, guys. I will do the honors and start us off." Long Yue said as both his soul jewel lit up and he rushed towards Zhang Xinyu.

By the time he arrived before her he already had his boneclaw armor summoned. He then proceeded to swing his claws at her and five streaks of fire formed he used his flame claws soul technique. Aiming for the girl.

Long Sha caught the attack as he had to protect the support-type soul expert as they don't have that much fighting abilities.

Long Yue returned and it was Wang Wei' turn first he used his poison breath aiming for Long Sha. He then saw that Wenxuan Xie wanted to get rid of the poison by flapping her wings hard enough. As he saw this he used his paralysis eyes on her and the poison breath hit Long Sha. Who now was in a sorry state as he dropped to the ground. After this Lee Zheng ascended using his snow-white eagle soul form and used his soul technique to eliminate Wenxuan Xie. After she was eliminated Long Yue used his flame claws once again to eliminate her as well.

This all happened in a matter of seconds.

"The winners are the trio from victory academy." The commentator announced as the crowd went wild and as paramedics rushed to the stage to help the three kids from glory academy. These weren't just any kids, these kids all came from strong and powerful families. Glory academy only accepts noble family descendants. "The trio from victory academy dealt with them as if it was a kids game. They didn't even have to move that much. Especially Wang Wei who hasn't even moved from his original position. Huh? What's this? …" As there were some inaudible murmurs the audience was waiting in silence to maybe hear a little bit of what was said. But then the commentator continued. "Ladies and gentlemen I just got word that the semi-finals of the solo competitions won't be held as the opponents of Wang Wei and Long Yue just withdrew from the competition and will fight for third place. So I am pleased to announce that the solo competition finals will be held between Long Yue and Wang Wei in two days."

"Wooooooo!" the crowd went wild.

"Good luck Wang Wei!" It was mostly women and girls who cheered for Wang Wei for he was very good looking.

"You can do it, Long Yue! Show that pretty boy who is boss!" these cheers were mostly from man as Long Yue looked very masculine for his age. A tiny man if you would say.

"Good luck Wang Wei. Hehe. You sure you want to do this?" Long Yue said teasingly.

"You just worry about being able to stand after our fight. I will make sure I win the first place." Wang Wei said. "I mean we already are qualified to enter jade academy but I won't give up on first place. It will help my family a lot. But I don't want you to go easy."

"Don't you worry I also am going for first place." Long Yue replied.

"Well, good luck to both of you." Lee Zheng said with a satisfactory smile.
