Sometimes, there are things he thought off but the solution could not be implemented because of the restriction of times and resources.

Between him and Mayeux, Mayeux knows more about the things that the tribes have and did not have.

Because of Mayeux, Aeryon could sometimes rest while Mayeux think of the logistic, supplies and all the other more miscellaneous thing that looks unimportant but actually vital to the operation of the tribes and the army.

In a way, he is a dreamer and Mayeux is the one that makes his dreams to come true.
