Water Lily

Riona Lawless sat at the table in the dining hall, the only other person in attendance besides her father. She sat back in her chair, her leg propped over the edge of the arm. Rion Lawless glanced disapprovingly at her but didn't say anything.

"Father," she asked, quickly downing the last of her milk.

"Yes, my little flame?" Rion glanced up at his daughter, a small frown creasing his brow.

"May I go hunting today?"

Sighing, her father nodded once, knowing there was no point in arguing with his firey little sprite of a daughter. "Yes, but stay close to the manor. No wandering into the woods beyond the property's edge young lady," he warned her.

Smiling brightly, Riona slipped her leg off the arm of the chair. "Thank you father, and don't worry, I won't wander off too far," she promised as she wolfed down the rest of her breakfast. Chuckling, her father nodded once. "Be sure to be back before lunchtime," he reminded.

"Yes, Father, I will," she promised. Standing she gave her father a quick kiss on the cheek before bounding towards her chambers.

Once inside of her chambers, Riona dismissed her maid. Stripping her morning gown and her underclothes off, she slipped into a pair of buckskin breeches that molded perfectly to her form. After lightly wrapping her chest in muslin bindings so the leather of her hunting vest didn't chafe across her chest, she slipped said hunting vest on.

She pulled on a pair of knee-length boots and braided her hair so it stayed out of the way when she hunted. Riona grabbed her quiver and bow from under her bed and quickly left.

Walking quietly through the trees, Riona watched for any sign of wildlife. She was close to the property's edge but she heeded her father's warning and didn't venture farther into the trees. However, something caught her attention and she found herself walking towards the denser section of woods.

Riona soon found herself standing at the edge of a giant pond that was fed by a waterfall on the other side. Sunlight shone through the trees overhead, illuminating the surface of the water.

Bending down to one knee, she was about to scoop up some water to drink, when a flash of movement caused the water to ripple a little ways from the bank.

Jumping to alertness, Riona knocked an arrow, aiming towards where she saw the ripple of movement. Ripples disturbed the smooth surface of the water, only this time the ripples were closer. Taking a wary step back, she pulled the string taut, ready to shoot.

A small head bobbed out of the water, scaring Riona half to death. Big, doe-like eyes, shining pure black, blinked cautiously back at her. Curiosity now taking over her initial fear, Riona slowly lowered the bow.

More of the creature's head poked out of the water. Long silvery hair swayed in the water around it. Its ears flared out, almost like an elf's. Light sea-mint green skin shimmered in the sun as more of the creature's body surfaced.

It slowly waded closer, until only its bottom half was covered by the water. Riona realized with a start that the creature was female, obvious by her ample bosom.

Riona set her bow on the ground and took a step closer, intrigued beyond all measure by the strange female creature in front of her. The girl in the water cocked her head to the side, as she curiously gazed at the woman approaching.

"Wh-what are you?" Riona stuttered. The woman in the water giggled, the sound was absolutely gorgeous to her ears. "I'm a nymph. What are you?" She inquired, a mischievous glint entering her black eyes.

In spite of herself, Riona smiled. "I'm human."

"Would you like to go for a swim with me?" The nymph asked, clasping her hands behind her back. This action jutted her chest forward, her breasts quivering slightly.

Riona glanced down at the nymph's chest. A small giggle caused her to tear her gaze away, as heat blossomed up her neck and quickly spread across her features.

"Sure," she replied, surprised to find her voice didn't waver, although inside, she was a mess. Stripping her clothes off until she was equally bare with the nymph, she stepped into the water, surprised that the water wasn't cold, but in fact comfortably warm.

Walking in until she was standing in front of the nymph, Riona shivered as she watched the woman in front of her rake her gaze over her body. Stepping closer, the nymph reached up and tugged Riona's hair out of its braid.

Grasping her hands, the nymph dragged her into the water and together they swam, gliding under the surface effortlessly. When it came time to leave, Riona was happy and smiling. "I fear it is time for me to go," she said reluctantly.

The nymph nodded. "I fear that I don't know your name as well," Riona told her as she struggled into her clothes. "Coventina, and yours?" Coventina asked in return. "Riona."

The nymph smiled, unexpectedly pulling Riona into a hug. Riona's top was still bare and their bodies slid together, warmth pulsing off of Riona and into Coventina's cooler body.

Blushing, she hugged her back, basking in the feel of the silver-haired beauty pressed up against her. "I promise to come back tomorrow," Riona whispered into her ear.

The nymph let her go and stepped back. "I'll be waiting," she said in reply. Riona nodded once before pulling the rest of her clothes on and turning to leave. Pausing, she thought for a second before turning back to the nymph. Gathering her in her arms again, she gently pressed her lips against Coventina's lips.

Coventina wrapped her arms around Riona's neck, deepening the kiss. Pulling apart, they shared each other's breaths. "I'll be back," she said, before turning and picking up her quiver and bow and leaving.

Running through the forest, Riona smiled, excitement jittering through her body. Breaking through into the clearing, she stopped short in front of the giant pond, where her love was languidly floating on her back. "Coven! I'm back!" She hollered, quickly stripping her clothes off so she could enter the water.

Ducking beneath the surface, Coventina swam over to the bank. Popping up, she smiled brightly as Riona jumped into the water. Catching each other about the waist, they glided towards the middle of the pond.

"I missed you," Riona told her, pulling her closer and planting gentle kisses along the length of her neck. Running her fingers through her hair, Coventina replied, "I missed you more."

Smirking, Riona captured her lover's lips, her hands carding through Coventina's silvery locks. Breaking apart, they panted heavily, sharing each other's breaths. "I love you, Coven," Riona said suddenly.

Coventina's eyes went wide, but her gaze softened, her black eyes shining. "I love you as well, Riona," she replied, hugging her tightly. "Be with me always?"

"Of course my dear," Riona returned, gently kissing her lover once more.
