Variety Is The Spice Of Life

Claire was glad everyone had such a good time at the zoo. Alex enjoyed himself too because he hadn't seen any of those animals before either. This had been a solid choice for an outing the whole group could have fun at. 

She made sure to take a lot of pictures. She didn't have many since her mom died and the majority of those were of Daisy or inanimate objects such as decorated sugar cookies. Having pictures of actual people to post on her Instagram account for once was nice. 

It wasn't that she had all that many followers—she had maybe eighty people from high school and her old jobs/community college and her account was private—but posting pictures there was sort of like journaling for her. It helped keep track of time passing with tangible memories.
