I Think I Killed Someone!

The marathon Claire signed up for wasn't until the middle of April but she had a few weeks that weren't too cold before then to practice running outside on actual roads. Alex accompanied her if she was willing to go right after getting home from work. 

He wasn't even done with his personal trainer certification yet but he was spending most of his evenings at the MMA gym when it was busier. He still ran with her though because he didn't want her to potentially run into any shady characters by herself. 

She couldn't really blame him. Female joggers went missing all the time. Plus they had officially met when three people were trying to kill her while she was on a run so…

Besides, Claire liked their runs. It was one of the only times she managed to see him anymore because their schedules didn't match up. Gone were the days when he depended on her for everything.
